Promises definitely are made to be broken with Staten Island Nissan. Obnoxious sales people will sweet talked of buying the best ever used 2006 Pathfinder LE with loads of benefits. Then, they promised that if you have the money upfront, they’ll have the vehicle cleaned/detailed/inspected, ready for pick up the following day…the whole story, just to make an end of the month sale. Then, the buyer shows up in the agreed pick up time and then what? The vehicle was not detailed/cleaned because the person in charge was not there. Yeah, right! So, you have to take it back at their convenience. Then, the sales person will rush on putting the plates without regard if he or his people will break the front bumper or not. If you trust them and just drive away without checking anything, then you’ll find yourself stuck with “hidden” problems like the broken bumper, a distinct noise somewhere on the engine side or something in the passenger side that the Nissan people will blame you, for buying a used vehicle. You take the vehicle back, alert them of what you saw/heard and then what? Leave the car and see what we can do. Then what happens next will be so frustrating that you’ll curse the company. How do we know that you didn’t cause the broken bumper yourself? Sorry, we can not help you. It was not there when you bought it! WOW! Charming Nissan people, aren’t they? Oh, by the way, the vehicle was with the buyer for the weekend and it was in a covered garage. So you asked, how did it happened? Ask Dave, Randy, Sharone and maybe, Joe. Conspiracy and deception are written all over their faces! They’ll tell you that you can not return it and they can not fix it…end of story. So, goodbye hard-earned cash (yeah, I paid cash) $20k is a lot of money. I learned a seriously aggravating lesson. HJope you will too. I’ve heard that Nick Scalici is a honest sales person at Staten Island Nissan. Maybe, for some of you, ask fo the guy. I sure hope I did!
