I quite like reading through an article that can make men and women think.
Also, thank you for permitting me to comment!
Don’t even bother going there if you have ANY respect for yourself because they sure WILL NOT RESPECT YOU. Me and my husband are the owners of 3 high performance cars. We’re quite young, love cars and decided to get the ’10 Evo. Well… the economy must not have any effect on that dealer because they just don’t give a crap about the clients. We barely exchanged few words with the salesman (who just like someone else stated had to go and ask his supervisor about everything). They have no idea about the CARS – and that was just sad. They treat you like some kind of idiots or teenage race-boys which must not be serious about purchasing one of their “precious vehicles…” (maybe that’s why they have so many in stock lol) Practically we were just told to go to hell. The worst and I mean it-THE WORST DEALER I’ve ever been to!!!!
So we went to Star Mitsubishi in Queens and will be getting my Evo from them.
Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!! Liar!!
when you walk in the door, the sale person would tell you that they are the biggest mitsubishi dealership in NJ, NY, CT area.
but i think they are the biggest liar in those area…
OK, that is how they trick their customers(include me who just bought a NEW lancer there)..
i spent more than 4 hours with ALBERT because he had no idea about the car and the price. every time i asked a question, he needed to ask his manage.
then when i was OK about the car and price, the trick began.
they asked me to deposit $500 so they could get the car for me, and i did what they said. then few days after, they called me and said, “the car you want is very hard to find, but we got it for you. Because the car we got was from FLORIDA and we asked a person to drive the car here for you, it has HIGH MILEAGE on it.”
by the time when i picked up my car, i saw that there were some damage on the front bumper and rims. so i told them that that was not the car i want. then they told me if i dont want the car, they arent going to return the $500 i deposited, and they promised that they were going to fix the damage by the time i picked up my license plate.
then i drove the car home and found out that the car was actually from an other dealership which was 50 MILES AWAY.
so on tuesday, when i came for my license plate, SAM told me he couldnt do anything about the rims because ALBERT wasnt there. and he said he was going to call me on wednesday, but he never did.
so on thursday, i came again. i asked them to fix the rims and told them that the car wasnt from FLORIDA, so why it had HIGH MILEAGE. then the SALE MANAGE came out
and shouted loudly with the anger,”the deal was done. did you have anythiny about fixing rims on the contract. and yeah, we did not tell you the truth because thats how we make you to agree about the HIGH MILEAGE on the contract, so what you are gonna do? ” (i dont remember what he exactly said but thats what he meant, and i dont wanna use the same word he said either). and that totally pissed me off.
for them, customers are the God before customers purchase the car, but after customers purchase the car, they are the god.
so DONT BUY THE CAR FROM MAYWOOD MITSUBISHI!!!
i really wish this website helps because i dont wanna see them use the same trick on other people. if people still want to buy the car from maywood after they saw my comment, just dont regret, OK??
Sounds par for the course with Maywood Mitsubishi regardless of what vehicle you buy from them, new or used. Used to go there for service and watching the salesmen (shouldn’t call them salesmen, more like order takers) give each other high-fives for ‘selling’ a car was laughable. Don’t know who this guy Albert is, but that guy Sam is a straight con-artist. Shouldn’t believe anything he says or promises. Sitting in the service department the customers know more about Mitsubishis than all the sales staff combined. And that manager who yelled at you, his name is Kevin. A real class act that guy is.
