Just a terrible dealer. I walked in and started to look. At that time the sales is nice. Take it for a test drive and the fun begins. I asked about the blue tooth option and was told “what you want me to take out the laundry list?”. The sales person didn’t review the car just boasted how that model was the best an the rest if the models werent. They are eager to take your deposit and once they have it then the rudeness increases. They make you wait and wait and wait before answering your questions. The sales and managers …yes managers..are rude, condescending and sarcastic as if I should know everythig about The car already. They start you off with a low monthly lease agreement and once you say yes, then they say don’t har that car but do have Thr alternative. (which is higher in cost I may add). And once you say ok let’s change the plan they say sorry that car was a mistake and the limited inventory includes the following (which I even higher). So what was the point of wasting time in the first place configuring a car that they dot have? Over all they hound you over the phone to get info out of you. The sales person is rude and thinks he knows what he was doing. Didn’t explain to me anything about the car, just “it the best car out there and I drive it”. I ended up not buying the car and went to another dealer. I wouldn’t recommend this dealer or salesperson to anyone.
My lease was up on my coupe in November 2010, I went to Smithtown Infiniti to trade in my lease for a 2011 model. They used extremely high pressure sales tactics to get me into one of their cars and was told I had to take the offer today or drive home in a service car as they did not want anything to happen to my current vechicle since I would be trading it in and was already over mileage. They offer you a low montlhly payment and them bump you once you meet with the finance people, this bump was $57 more then the number given by salesmen. They did not seem to care how long it took to process paper work or that I was already an Infiniti customer. Make a long story short I did not purchase my car from them as they were rude and thought they had the upper hand on me since my lease was up. I would not recomend them to to my worst enemy, sitting in their dealership was a terrible experience with conflicting stories from both the managers, salesmen, and finance. Be extremely careful and smart if your going to make a purchase from this dealership, I understand they are in business to make money but ripping people off is unacceptable. Do your homework and shop around, don’t throw your hard earned money away….Good luck!
