The worst service dept… ever.
I bought a CPO 2011 Grand Cherokee with 11K miles a couple months ago and now the trim pieces which were supposedly part of a “Black Package”, which is what the salesman told me, are now peeling. I mean all every trim piece that is usually chrome, has been painted black, but they are chrome underneath. Shiny chrome. The black paint is all chipping off and they don’t want to do anything about it. The best they would do is remove the trim pieces for me to take the black off myself, and then re-install myself?? Now I could very do this myself, and the job would be perfect, but WHY DO I HAVE TO DO IT??? According to Jeep’s corporate office, I shouldn’t have to. So why is this dealer telling me this? Because they are too busy ripping other people off to deal with a customer concern. Their excuse is that the salesman needs to OK the work on my car because it comes out of his paycheck. So let’s play this out..
(Mike the service manager)
“Norris… would you come here please.”
(Norris the salesman)
“Yes Mike, what can I do for you?”
(Mike the service manager)
“Ummm… Norris… Would you like to pay for this guys work to be done on his car???”
(Norris the salesman)
“No way, why the hell would I want to do that???”
(Mike the service manager)
“OK I’ll let the customer know that you are not willing to pay for the work to fix the car you sold him with the ‘Black Package’…”
I bet that is almost exactly how it went.
What’s funny is looking back, Norris mentioned this “Black Package” to another salesman or lot boy with that tone… you know that tone when you can tell someone is lying to cover something up because your standing right there, but the other person has no idea what you are talking about… yea, that one. Great sales technique but I bet it sucks when it bites you in the ass huh Norris.
I will never again buy a car, or have service done at this dealer.
Was lied to about my CPO 2011 Grand Cherokee having a factory installed “Black Package” which turns out that someone sprayed the chrome pieces with plasti-dip or flat black paint. Now every piece has the paint chipping off and they refuse to fix it.
This would make my second visit to Cherry Hill Triplex Dodge dealership and I am still smiling since the last visit. You can definitely know that the associates there are about business. I called in on Monday and was packaged up and driving off in my new car on Tuesday. I am proud to announce that Mr. Ted Spence is the salesman that helped me. I have never gone through any other car buying process without tears. There was no long wait. I am so happy with my new 2011 Charger. I love Cherry Hill Dodge and will go nowhere else because they don’t try and scam you. Thanks to Mr. Spence. So if you are in the market for a car, and don’t won’t the hassle, Mr. Ted Spence is the man to see. I am still smiling with no complaints. Thanks to the financing dept as well. I went in, had each document thoroughly explained and that was it. I heard thank you and congratulations. THANK YOU CHERRY HILL TRIPLEX DODGE AND I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!

My car has been there 4 days, they are still clueless as to the problem or IF they are going to cover it, despite that it is still under warranty. They have no consideration of time, and “don’t do loaners”. However, they will offer you a rental price at $35/day plus $400 deposit. Of course since 4 days later they can’t even diagnose the problem, the rental could go on for weeks! Don’t ever buy a car from them. If you ever have a problem with it, they are a nightmare to deal with!!!!!!:mad:
Hello all who read this. My name is Brian and I called up CHD in May to get a price for my car. I needed an alternator and spoke to Mark who said they could get me an alternator and install it for 260 plus tax. They said it was because of some warranty they have because Dodge’s alternators have been defected.
So I drop the car off.. I called them the next few days for updates on the car, when I could pick it up.. and every time I asked for the price and said Mark said it would be 260 plus tax. Which they confirmed,
So I go pick the car up.. and they say it’s going to be 449 and change. I said why, they said because the car needed a new battery, starter, and alternator. THEY NEVER SAID THIS ON THE PHONE.
So I pay them it was around MAY 17TH OR 19TH that I GOT MY CAR…
On June 24th my car died. A little more than a month after they fixed it.. it died. I called them up told them what happened.. they said I was covered under a 12 month/ 12k warranty.
So they gave me the number to chrysler road side assistance.. got the car towed to Freehold Chrysler in NJ to get the work done.
Jeff from CHD calls me and says that THEY have to do the work because they gave me a goodwill discount (pay for labor not the parts).. so they said they have to do the work in cherry hill.
Mind you.. the freehold chrysler is 10 minutes away from my job .. and CHD is 2 hours away from my job..
So they told me they would send a tow truck to pick the car up from Freehold Chrysler and have it towed to CHD. I asked if they are going to have the car towed back to EB for me.. they said no because it’s costing them over 200 to get it towed from Freehold to Cherry Hill.
So the car was dropped off on the 24th later in the day. I was told by Jeff and Mark that I could pick the car up on Friday the 26th that it was the battery they were putting a new one in and testing it out. I drive down on the 26th.. they changed the reason and said it was an electrical problem. I said when is it going to be fixed. Their answer, and I swear on my mother’s grave.. “I DON’T KNOW”… so they set me up with a rent a car… they said saturday the car will be fixed… I called on saturday and they said they still don’t know what is wrong with the car, the technician is looking at it.
They call me back and said tuesday I can pick it up. I call on monday to confirm it, they told me they have to order a “brain” for the car and they havent ordered it yet. They said they would cover the rent a car. So finally on wednesday they call and said its fixed to come get it.
I drive down on thursday to get my car.. normally they bring the car up to you.. they handed me the keys and i asked where it was.. and they said “I DON’T KNOW, GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK FOR IT.”
IT WAS THE WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD AT ANY COMPANY. THEY LIE AND SAY IT’S GOING TO BE FIXED.. TELL YOU DAYS TO COME DOWN AND GET IT.. THEN PROCRASTINATE AND WASTE MY FUCKING TIME AND MY FUCKING GAS..
I almost bought a car from these guys and I’m glad I didn’t the salesman totally tried to screw me… First he told me he could get the vehicle I wanted and it wouldn’t be any charge but I had to leave a deposit so I leave a deposit and he starts going over #s.. Trying to give me an 84 month loan and adding about $1200 onto the tax and tags meanwhile running around like he was on cocaine and trying to rush me.. So I decided I didn’t want to buy from there I call the guy 2 days later tell him I didn’t want the car he starts flipping out. So a day later I speak with the “manager” it sounded ALOT like the salesmen but who knows he tried to sell me the car again, I told him I did not have the money at this time and would like my money back. So he gets an attitude tells me “I’m not getting my money back”.. Five minutes later he calls me back trying to sell me this car again offering to go lower, I still tell him that I don’t have the money at this point and would be back in a month or so when I did.. Then I asked him if I could have my $500 deposit back he said “Were not giving you’re money back” and hung up on me.. Hopefully I can save someone a trip to this shit hole by telling my personal experience with it.
