The service department doesn’t answer the phone. I have been standing there while several employees ignore a ringing phone. Great customer service there… I guess they think it’s OK to waste customers’ time. To be fair, many Ford dealers seem to be this way.
My biggest complaint, though, is that I don’t believe the warranty repairs they did on my car were done correctly. The initial problem, a clunk noise from the front suspension, still hasn’t been fixed and the car has new noises and a nasty vibration after they worked on it.
Of course, they said they couldn’t reproduce my complaints and that there is no possible way they did anything wrong. But the vibrations I experience in my car on a daily basis tell me otherwise.
Not recommended. Do not have your car serviced here.
During one of the 3 test drives; I decided to stay at Janet’s desk. Janet made a comment about how “something was gay.” This greatly offended me and was very unprofessional. Janet also commented that my mother wanted gas put in one of the Ford Escapes so she could drive it. Janet said that there is no need as there are other Escapes you can drive. However, my parents ended up test driving a white demo instead of the one they wanted to drive; a dark grey Titanium. While Janet was off doing something another salesman stopped by to take the grey Escape keys for his patrons to test drive. I mentioned it was out of gas. When Janet returned I informed her of the conversation and she huffed and then called someone to put gas in the grey Escape. Obviously Janet did not want to sell that car to my parents or she would have reacted to put gas in that car while allowing them to test drive another car; say the Edge?
My parents made the decision that they wanted the Ford Edge and desired the one located in the show room. Janet stated they would not be able to take the Edge home that day. I asked why and she said “we close at 3pm.” I asked her if she would stay and she said I would be the guys in the back will not (those that have to get it ready). This was totally amazing to me. Janet didn’t even call anyone to ask if this was really accurate and didn’t even desire a sale enough to consider doing it herself.
BEWARE. Make sure you get parts after repairs. I did not. Car ran great when brought in for The Works. Told need new bearing..expensive. Car ran terrible when picked up. No report. Would only address car running for additioanl money. Could not read computer code to diagnose. BTW, Auto Zone will read your diagnostic code for FREE. Hines Park could not read a code. Said they made repairs they did not. Service Manager and GM were rude and covered EACH OTHER’S BEHIND. NO WONDER DEALERS HAVE SUCH A BAD WRAP. CROOKS AND LIARS.
This is the worst dealership on earth. They lie, cheat and steal. They DONT inspect their vehicles but claim they do. They are all smiles when you buy a vehicle, but as soon as there is a problem, watch out. You are on your own. Even if it was a known problem that you brought to their attention during the test drive, they will deny they were ever infomed. They just sock you with a huge repair bill and say “you bought it as is”. Dont be the same sucker I was, stay as far away from this dealership as you can. In fact RUN dont walk away!!! 😡
