I had been searching and looking for a car for a couple of months before I bought mine. I knew the prices of the car ( 2013 Ford Focus )I wanted before even going in. I have been pricing them using the internet, seeing what options came with what price. I saw my car at this dealership, BY FAR THE BEST PRICE FOR THE OPTIONS I HAVE. There was NO pressure, and my salesman responded to my emails quickly. I wasnt gonna take a trip there if the car was no longer available. This was the EASIEST and BEST TRANSACTION I have ever had in buying a new car! DO YOUR RESEARCH before you buy a car. I KNOW you will see that they offer some great deals and you will be as HAPPY AS I AM.
I purchased a used vehicle 6/25/2011. The salesman was very nice until i had to continue to bring my car back in for repairs. First off, they didn’t give me a car fax, second, they knew that the car needed new tires and everytime i drive the car past 55mph, the car makes very loud noises and raddles. I told the sales manager about the noise 2 days after the purchase and he told me that if i need new tires than i have to buy they myself at $1000. I am still floored with the way they treated me. I feel that they just threw me under the bus just to make a quick sale. I am planning to sue the dealership. If anyone needs to buy a new or used vehicle? DO NOT GO TO FREEWAY FORD….EVER.
They didn’t have the Escape I wanted on the lot, but they found it quickly. The whole process went very smooth, the price was fair and the service seems very good. I had some problems getting my phone to work with the Sync and had to go back, they fixed it fast. Even a salesperson who didn’t sell me the car was happy to help me. I would recommend this dealership!!
I bought a 2004 Ford from this dealership it was the best experence I have ever had at a dealership. The management was wonderful to deal with the price was fair for what I bought the finance department is great and the salesperson has been wonderful even after the sale, I had a issue with one of the power windows it would not go up, Barry was very helpful a got me a loaner car well they fixed the issue at no cost.
All of the other reviews I have read on this dealership were bad but I have not had that experence it was wonderful and I would tell everyone I know to buy and service there car’s there…
I bought a used vehicle from this dealership. Less than one month after sale, I was hit from behind. When the repair shop was fixing the damage, they asked if it had ever been in any other accidents, I told them “not to my knowledge”. They said the front bumper alignment looks a little off, did you hit the car in front of you when you were hit? Again, “no”. They said they would check it out. Turns out, car had severe front end damage, and was being held together with sheetrock screws! I contacted the dealership, and they said “Well, didn’t you look at it before buying it?”
Honestly. Who takes the bumber covers off a car in the dealership lot to inspect? (I was given a clean car fax). I called back the dealership, and explained that I did not think they purposely sold the vehicle to me like that, but that less than one month ago, I paid full retail value for a car that has obvious defects. I requested them to fix the damage underneath, or refund the amount paid so that I could have it fexed elsewhere. They refused…again, and again, and again.
I ended up having to take it to small claims court, where I won the judgement amount, and they had to refund the money. Then, after the judgement, they wouldn’t pay that either. I had to hound them week after week to get that!
Clearly, after the sale is made, they are done with you. NO customer service, and no intent to “make things right” with customers. I don’t care what kind of price they offer on a car, I will never go back. Ever.
FIRST OFF , IN THE PAST 5 YEARS I HAVE PURCHASED 2 NEW AND 2 USED VEHICLES FROM FREEWAY FORD. MY GUY – BARRY MCDANIELS – HAS ALWAYS BEEN AWESOME. I THINK THE PRESSURE GOT TO HIM AND HE STEPPED DOWN FROM HIS POSITION TO JUST DEAL WITH SALES. HE USED TO FIGHT FOR YOU AND GET SOMEWHERE BUT NOW HIS HANDS ARE TIED. THE LATEST VEHICLE I BOUGHT WAS A USED ONE AND AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE , I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN ” GONE THROUGH ” BY THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. WHAT A JOKE. I HAVE OVER $3,000 IN REPAIRS INTO THIS ALREADY AND PROBABLY HAVE ANOTHER $1000 TO GO. ANOTHER FORD DEALER TOLD ME THAT IF SOMEONE LOOKED AT THIS VEHICLE AND SOLD IT IN THIS CONDITION , THEY HAD THEIR HEAD UP THEIR BUTT. I CALLED MR. MCDANIELS AND HE WAS GOING TO GO TO BAT FOR ME BUT GOT NOWHERE. IT IS OBVIOUS TO ME THAT WITH ALL THE MONEY I HAVE GIVEN THEM OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS , THE ONLY THING THAT NOW MATTERS TO THEM IS MAKING A SALE. CUSTOMER SERVICE , REPEAT CUSTOMERS , HAPPY CUSTOMERS ETC …. THEY COULDNT CARE LESS.
I’ve had a terrible experience with this dealer.
They’ve been dishonest in what they promise, and seem to try to slip in what they can.
After buying, their customer service instantly turns off. 😡
Wow, these people are crazy. Super high pressure and no concept of customer service. They literally meet you in the parking lot and hang on you until you leave. They were very helpful up until the sale. Afterward I had some life challenges and my credit wasn’t as good as it used to be. Trying to deal with them from that point on was incredible. They were so rude and disrespectful I sent an email to the CEO of Ford. I heard back from him and the district mananger but nothing changed. I wouldn’t buy a candy bar from these nutcases again.
I test drove a vehicle on Nov 17th, and liked everything about the car, except noticed the “check engine” light was on. The salesman said it would be resolved if I purchased the car, but then told me that since they did not know how much the repair would cost, I should pay a higher price for the car. He offered me a lower price -with the check engine light on, or a higher price with it off! I was floored!
He finally agreed to the lower price with the engine light issue resolved, but could not give me a straight answer about what the problem was when we came to pick the car up. He thought it was the oxygen sensor… Less than 70 miles later (2 days of driving), the engine starts sputtering so badly we were unable to make it home, and my trustworthy mechanic says that there is a serious issue with the ignition coils, and it will cost $1300 to repair. I called the Freeway Ford Used Car Sales Manager, and asked what he would be able to do to help make the issue right for us. He told me that he’s sorry this happened, but his mechanics could not possibly have mis-diagnosed the problem, and that this “underlying issue” must have developed after I drove the car off the lot! He went on to say that he understands why I’m upset, but under state law he has no obligation to do anything. (Since our used car was over 100K it isn’t protected by MN 30 day used car lemon law) Sounds to me like he has heard from disappointed customers before & is perfectly okay doing nothing to resolve the issues.
I sincerely hope the $1000 they’re saving by treating us poorly is lost 100x over by customers AVOIDING THIS DEALER LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are your worst nightmare, slick, weasel-y used sales car types, have proven to be dishonest & they don’t care about keeping or satisfying their customers AT ALL.
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
