My First experiance with this dealer was excellent so i figured i would buy my second truck from Williams. Well i will no longer recommend this dealer to ANYONE. To make a long story short i live 5.5 hrs away and was interested in a truck. Over several weeks of talking, I asked the sales person several times if the shape of the truck was good and he insisted it was in good shape. I also asked if there were any issues with the truck or if any work needed to be done and he assured me there wasnt. Well after flying down to pickup the truck, on my drive back home, after shutting the truck off to get Gasoline, it would no longer start due to a dead battery. I had to wait until a stranger came and offered me a jump start. Also when i left the dealership the sales person informed me of a noise that was comming from the truck. He assured me that Dodges sound like that and they thought it was a manifold leak but they had checked it out and everything was ok. Well, after a visit to my local dodge dealership for an inspection on Monday, they told me there was a manifold leak, the front brakes are at 10%, dead battery and there was a rear pinion seal leak (DOESNT SOUND LIKE THE TRUCK IS IN GOOD SHAPE TO ME). So in 96 hours of owning the truck, i have only had to make $897.00 in repairs. The best part about it is i called my sales person, a manager and the person resonding to these posts since Tuesday and have not had one call back. Moral of the story…. DO NOT BUY A USED AUTOMOBILE FROM WILLIAMS AUTOMAX UNLESS YOU HAVE A SECOND PARTY INSPECT IT!!!!
Finally spoke with a “manager”. Only option is to return the already fixed car with no compensation.
I have had numerous customer service issues with this dealership, including the “Fast Lube” part of the business.
A few years ago, I was shopping for a new (used) vehicle; I was treated so rudely I couldn’t believe it. It was clear that when they realized I wasn’t made of money, I was not worth their time. Not only was I dropped like a hot potato, but they never followed up or returned any of my phone calls.
A week ago, I choose to go to the Fast Lube to get my oil changed which also included a car wash. I could have gone anywhere to get the oil change, but I needed a car wash so I choose Fast Lube. After being charged almost $50 for the upgraded oil change, I was given a slip with a code on it for their car wash. I pulled around and attempted to use the car wash, but it was blocked off (would have been nice if they had mentioned that it was out of order when they gave me the slip). I parked my car and went in and was told that it had just broken down and would be fixed sometime in the next week. Keep in mind that the car wash slip stated that it was only good for 7 days.
Today (on day 7) I made a special trip over to use the wash before the code expired – it was still out of order. I went in and the staff, including the manager acted like it was no big deal – “what do you want us to do about it?” was their response. There was some woman named Shay there that informed me that the code was good for 30 days, not the 7 that was printed on the slip. When I asked her how I would know that, her reply was “I always tell people that when I give them out” – the problem with that is I had never laid eyes on her in my life! She was soooooooo rude.
I called to speak with the management at Williams later in the day, explaining to the switchboard person that I had a problem with the Fast Lube staff and expressly told her I did not want to discuss this further with them as all they wanted to do was treat me rudely and argue with me. I was transferred around the dealership eventually ending up with Shay at the Fast Lube. She proceeded to argue with me about who I had asked to speak with (like she would know-so how exactly is she in the position to speak to this?). I had also asked them earlier in the day for the manager’s name and number and was given a phoney name/phone number (for some limo service).
Bottom line here – stay away from Williams in any way, shape, or form. They don’t know the first thing about customer service, except how not to give it properly and they don’t come thru on their promises (i.e. a car wash was included in the $50 oil change).
I did NOT give them a “3” for honesty!
My first encounter was a phone call from a lady named Ali she said she works in the BDC which i asked what is the BDC she told me we have a Business Development Center in which we contact customers and invite them in on an appointment. I was so impressed, she set me up with the General Sales Manager Lee at Williams Honda. Lee was so helpful, he then introduced me to Joe W which was a wonderful low pressure salesman. My overall experience with William Honda was 10. I love my Honda Civic 2011 and will return for service.
