We purchased a new SUV thinking it was perfect. Found out quickly it did not have all requested amenities that we asked for so thought Riverside could add on. Were told it was a factory option only so we figured our only option was to return on Chevy’s 60 day warranty so we could re-order same vehicle with options it should have had in the first place. Looked on Chevy’s website and we met all criteria.
Now we find out that Riverside has voided our warranty option by hiding an out to the warranty in the contract papaerwork we signed.
Lessons learned:
Don’t buy here again.
Wherever you buy-read everything you sign, don’t go with quick explanation of the finance person. Slow down when you sign your name!
Get copies of every piece of paper you sign, not just what they choose to give you.
I originally looked at a Dodge Ram 1500. I bought a Ford F150. It was alright until today. I checked my bank account and I was charged another car payment($350.00) I traded the car off at the end of March. That was twenty-seven days ago and the loan has stil not funded. I called the dealership and talked to a finance manager. He tried to blame me fo the error. I called the lender. the lender told me when the loan pay off is sent to pay it off, the dealership will get the $350.00 back. I thought the car would be paid off by now. I was told by the dealership the money would be returned to me. At this point, I am out $350.00 of my hard earned money because the dealership could not ge the loan funded in a timely manner. On top of that, they get the $350.00 back. I would not recommend buying a car from Riverside Chevrolet…..but I do recommend starting your own dealership. They make a mistake and get my money. I buy a truck from the dealership…pay commission to the dealership…plus $350.00 extra.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Riverside Chevrolet and they can not get me the title to the vehicle it is apparently a vehicle from Missouri. I can not get the General Manager to return my phone calls or the phone calls to my husband they just keep telling me that they are working on it. We have the place that we are financing it through calling looking for the title and we can not provide it.
