Our salesman and his boss (the one that actually decides if they can do that price or not) were just fine. Not a ton of pressure you could tell they wanted to keep us there but they did it by coming down to our price that we wanted and then actually took another 200.00 off the price just to keep us from looking anywhere else. Good experience so far but then came the finance dept and their schemes to try to get us to purchace a ton of insurance and extra stuff we didn’t need. If we had caved it would have put the price back at original or even more. After two hours of shoving this stuff at us we finally got through to them that we were not paying a cent more than what we had agreed on. They seemed a little ticked. Then they tried to change the interest rate on the paperwork while we were signing all the forms. When I caught the “mistake” they corrected it but I really didn’t feel like it was a mistake. I would not recomend this dealership unless you can stick to your guns and have either a morning or an afternoon to waste and watch everything you sign very closely. The whole experience took over 4 hours. The price was good though.
They’re liars, and will do or say ANYTHING to get your money!!!!! I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to ANYONE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and overall experience I have ever had. They were EXTREMELY DISHONEST and EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. They did TERRIBLE work and failed to do even the basic repairs that they outlined on my estimate. They worked EXTRAORDINARILY SLOW and took almost two weeks to do a very basic repair which they charged me nearly $2,000 for. As if their shoddy workmanship and poor business dealings weren’t enough they literally STOLE a $50 lotion from my car and refused to return it. In addition, they left a half-melted eye liner stick in my front console. I am BEYOND DISGUSTED. Unless you wish to be treated poorly, lied to, and stolen from TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE. I will NEVER return to Reliable Chevrolet again and will be sure to warn all of my friends and family to avoid it as well.
Purchased a 2004 Ford Mustang on 1/22/2011, on 2/9/2011 I called them regarding paperwork(title, inspection, ect.) I was informed they did not mail it or have it because they had not yet paid off the old lein holder and did not have a release of lein and therefore no legal title to give me. They seemed unconcerned about my issue and just stated well you’ll have penalties but just send us a bill and we will reimburse you. They can not indicate when I may have a legal clear title to this car. Very unprofessional they all lied to me. Mike Richardson, Jerry White (very rude), and Randall Hargess. These guys are really bad at their jobs. If Reiliable is okay with these types working for them than no one should purchase from them.
Tons of problems with the 2010 ss camaro extended guarantee and it meant nothing to them they wouldn’t fix the problems never will buy chevy again.
My wife and son were visiting in Springfield from our home in Fl.when the car developed a serious problem. They took the car to to the dealer who’s service was very helpful and courteous. They troubleshot the problem, informed me in Florida of the problem and cost to make the repair. They also assisted my wife with rental car arrangements. They kept me informed of the progress and performed the repair in a timely manner. My wife and son were very impressed with the people and service. I highly recommend them to others.87e6
My brother made the first contact concerning a Honda Odyssey and then I was called regarding the car when I mentioned I was interested in a used Chevrolet, Rob contacted me and offered to watch for one. I wrote him to let him know that I needed a vehicle that my handicapped 75 year old mother and the rest of my family could get in and that would get good gas mileage. He contacted me on a Monday that a 2007 Uplander LS was in with low miles and the price range I had mentioned. Since I live 3 hours away, I asked if my brother could see it either Tuesday or Wednesday as he was to possibly have surgery on Tuesday morning. My brother didn’t have surgery in St. Louis but did not get back to Sprinfield until late onTuesday so he hoped to see it Weds. which he didn’t make either but went on Thursday to see the vehicle that was supposed to be held for him to see. It had been loaned out so they showed him a different vehicle (2008 Uplander LT)and said the 2007 would be back on Friday or Saturday. He continued to call them and was told Saturday morning that it would be back after 2:00 pm on Saturday. I let him know if they would have the two (the 2007 and a 2008) there for me to see that I would drive after I got off work to go see it. They guaranteed they would hold them for me to see so as soon as I got off work at 3:00 pm on Saturday, I went to get my mom–since she would be able to see if she could get in and out of the vehicle easily and we left for Springfield. Halfway down the road, my brother called that he had called them to tell them to have them ready as we were about one hour and a half away and they let him know they had sold the 2007 LS which I was more interested in. I thought we might as well go home but my mom had such hopes that there would be a vehicle, she said we should go on and at least look at the 2008. We got to the dealership only to be told that they had sold the 2008 as well. What a poor way to do business and they should change their name to UNRELIABLE CHEVROLET with the motto–“You cannot count on us because we do not keep our word.” “Financing Sales is more important than selling cars for Cash.” (Didn’t we taxpayers just bail them out of their poor lending practices and poor money management?????) “We do not support our sales agents who make promises to their potential clients.”
If this company has any good reviews—look to the source as it is probably one of their sales managers using a Ghost Writer name to cover his backend (to be nicer than they are).
God help Chevrolet, GM and our country if this is the way our Country is headed—-full of lies, taking advantage of people, lack of integrity, etc. The Father of Lies is the devil and there is a place prepared for him and all of his little car sales managers (Kevin) who mislead and mistreat people. We spent over $100 of gasoline to get there in my ’95 Chevy van that I had hoped to trade and remain loyal to Chevy. We had to spend money for food and a place to stay since it was so late and my mother cannot travel more than 3 hours in a day due to her illnesses. All the sales people could do was make jokes and smile without an apology nor an offer to pay for our waste of time and money to go to their business. They should be audited and put on suspension by the GM and Chevrolet corporations for their Bad Business practices. Kevin, Rob and Shane should be fired for their Bad Customer Relations. Clients should be compensated for their time and money spent as well as emotional stress that they suffer from the mistreatment. I should have found this website earlier as I can see I am not the only unhappy customer.
Again, God Help them and Judge them Accordingly!!!!!:mad::mad::(:(:(

My parents walk-in to Reliable and was greeted by a salesmen last week they was told the vehicle they was interested in could already be sold. Then for the past two days Friday and Saturday Reliable has called and wanted my parents to come back in, the deal on that vehicle my parents was interested in fell through so Reliable called Friday and then Saturday wanted to make a trade with my parents. Reliable called again on Saturday wanting to know what my parents needed for there car to make the trade for the Reliable vehicle so then Reliable told my parents to load it up and bring it in and that they thought they could make a good trade. My parents loaded up the car right then and headed for Springfield Mo from Lebanon Mo they got here and sit for 30 minutes and the salesmen and the manager never came around then finally another salesmen came over a preceded to tell my parents that the vehicle that Reliable had called them about that he was just drawing the paperwork up and it was now SOLD. I think that is very POOR business. They knew that my parents was coming up with the car and then Reliable went and sold it right underneath my parents while they was sitting there waiting. The manager and the salesmen had no guts to come and be honest and let my parents know they had sold the vehicle right underneath them so that tells me that Reliable knew that they was in the wrong. POOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. Reliable manager should have come out and been honest right up front and then I think since Reliable was the one that called my parents they should have offered to pay for the gas that was wasted and the time wasted on Saturday for nothing. Needless to say they never offered anything the manager and the salesmen hid and had the other salesmen come and tell my parents. I’m sure my parents will never darken Reliables lot again they have been known for bad business in the past and everyone needs a 2nd chance they got there’s and they done very POORLY and therefore never again. My opinion is that I would think very hard before going to Reliable and getting messed around on a vehicle deal. Reliable did wrong no dought but they should have done the right thing and at least made it right for the time and gas wasted for the day. Needless to say they didn’t make it right and never will. I just wanted people to know how my parents was treated. POOR BUSINESS.
( By the way Reliable salesmen that came over after 30 minutes finishing up the paperwork on the vehicle my parents was there for told my parents that he could make them a sweet deal on a another SUV that really took some nerve on Reliables part needless to say my parents was not interested in any other deal that they had to offer. I hate to have to ever give a bad review for anyone but this was very POOR BUSINESS I think people needed to know what kind of business they run.
This was the most helpful dealership I have ever visited. The Big Lot folks go out of their way to make you a Completely Satisfied customer, which is their motto. I spoke with other local dealers like Pinegar, Mayse, Hanks, etc. and none wanted to make the deal I was looking to make. I will repeat buy and recommend to all of my friends and family!!
