I sell INSURANCE and I buy all my cars from Mr pretko for 25 years. And I cannot
believe the blogs of misappropriation I HAVE READ ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP.
WHOMEVER IS AT FAULT COME FORTH, AND SHOW YOUR COWARDLY FACE.
And if you need insurance call me 734-762-0000
Again no reason to lie. Show my face? Wanna buy insurance? Wanna buy a car? Not trying to sell anyone anything. You are irrelevant to me and I tried to be done with this 3 years ago but here we are again. My experience with this place was horrible and MY experience. Don’t care what you think or how you get your free advertising. Knock yourself out. Have a great day. I’m done with this whole matter because I’m a grown up with a life.
I went there to look at a vehicle that had a low price on there website, once I got there the wouldn’t go below 3k above what I saw. Then they insulted me by offering me 4k for my car. Horrible dealership and wouldn’t reccommend this to anyone!
Was looking at a vehicle. Yahoo had it listed at one price and the dealership due to a promotion raised the price $2,000 more. Explaination was the internet price and the walk-in price are different as they will give discount at the dealership. đĄ Discount? They raise the prices up so that unsuspecting people think they are getting a deal when in fact they aren’t. Wouldn’t buy from this dealer.
I took my Fusion to the Body Shop at North Bros. Ford in Westland for body work following an accident for which I had to pay the deductible. Since I am new to the area, I chose North Bros. mainly for its location. My experience with the people in the body shop was a good one. When I picked up my car, it looked good, and I was happy with the outcome and how I was treated as a customer. I knew, at that time, that when my lease expires this summer, I would go to North Bros. to buy or lease my next vehicle.
However, there was a slight problem when I paid my deductible of $550. The woman told me that my debit card would not go through. She tried twice, so I ended up paying with a check. The next day, when I checked my bank account online, there were 2 pending debits for $550, tying up $1100 of my checking account…plus they had my check for $550. After several phone calls back and forth between my bank and the dealership, I finally got us all on a three-way call, as no one was willing to assume responsibility to fix this for me. The bank insisted that since North Bros. ran my card, they needed to provide the approval codes so that the bank could take the excess charges off my account. The supervisor in the cashierâs office at North Bros. was extremely rude to me and to the bank representative. She was not at all helpful. She only made matters worse. It is upsetting for me that my checking account is (and will be until Wednesday) short of available funds due to this mix up. But the worst part is how I was talked to and treated by that woman from the dealership. She was so unprofessional. Absolutely none of this was my fault or my error. I was the victim. All I needed to hear that day was, simply, âIâm so sorry that this happened. Let me get some information from you and Iâll see what we can do to correct this.â But instead, she was rude to me and treated me like it was my fault!
I called the dealership to talk to someone in charge, but I have yet to receive a call back. So here is my response to North Bros. Ford for the way a body shop customer and potential new car customer was treated…
In this economy, where dealerships are competing for our business, donât assume that an excellent body shop, wonderful salesmen, and great products and incentives are enough. It only takes ONE employee (doesnât matter what department she/he is in) with poor customer service skills to damage your reputation. I will NOT buy a car from you. The 20+ people that work with me in my office will NOT buy a car from you. My family will NOT buy a car from you. My Facebook friends will NOT buy a car from you. The next car I buy will be from a dealership that treats its customers with kindness and respect. I donât mind driving a few extra miles for that!
Just wanted to correct the rating shown an previous review. They get a 0! DON’T GO HERE FOR MAINTENANCE!
Service tried to replace the $165.00 standard fuel pump with a $455.00 extended range tank flex fuel pump, and wanted 4 hours labor. Called several shops and was quoted 1.5 hours labor and the correct fuel pump. The actual price to replace the pump was 1/3 the cost quoted by North Brothers Ford!!!
North Brothers Ford clearly tried to take advantage of a vulnerable senior citizen. DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! THEY WILL TRY TO BURN YOU!
I don’t know why this review shows a 3 star rating. I give them a big ZERO.
My wife and I called this morning to inquire about pricing on a Ford Flex. We were quoted a price based on a combination of incentives AND interest rate offered from Ford Credit. Upon arrival (my wife came by herself) my wife test drove the vehicle and filled out the necessary paperwork then did the requisite wait to finalize the sale. My wife was informed that the incentives changed from the time we had called this morning to the time the paper work was submitted. Also, she was informed that the interest rate was exclusive of the incentives, meaning that the interest rate we were quoted was NEVER valid with the incentives we were quoted.
This is caused by one of two things;
1. This was a bait and switch
or
2. The salesman did not know what he was talking about
I understand that Ford changes their incentives at the drop of a hat, but incentives can be back dated and the interest rate was NEVER to be combined with the incetives.
When discussing this with the sales manager, he was unapologetic and flipant about the possibility of apologizing for the lack of communication and misdirection. At the time, North Brothers Ford has an offer of a $25 gas card for test driving a vehicle. Even after the terrible experience (and yes, the vehicle was test driven) they did not offer the gas card to my wife.
In summary,
1. Be VERY skeptical about any numbers quoted over the phone.
2. If you are a woman and go in alone, be very skeptical of ANY numbers given. I cant help but feel that my wife was taken advantage of or treated a little differently because she was a woman in there by herself.
3. Make sure you have done your research on incentives available and check them against another dealership
4. Go to that other dealership to make your purchase or lease.
I took my vehicle in for a torque converter recall. To make a long story short, they put two cracks in my upper intake system and refused to own up to it. It cost me $583 to have the issues fixed after they insisted on my bringing my car in for a FREE recall-service.
Oh – and they said it would be a 3-4 hour job. It took 5 DAYS!!!!!!
BUYER BEWARE! Shifty, slimy sales staff. My son was scammed because he was naĂŻve. Told him they would âpay offâ his trade in, but instead added it to his loan. Added a $1700 extended warranty he declined but he didnât catch. Iâm sure had he caught it, it would have been a âclerical errorâ and removed. He didnât have his trade in title so they actually followed him to my house at 11 P.M. to make sure the closed this deal. WHO DOES THAT?? When he called to speak to his salesman, Tarrick Warra, the next day after we had discovered the deception, the âmanâ that answered the phone, {NAME REMOVED AT REQUEST OF SALESMAN}, thought he put the phone on hold but didnât. He yelled out âthat homo from last night says you F*cked himâ. Manager, Brandon Moss, admitted he heard the derogatory statement on their recorded lines and did apologize however asked us to give him a few days which was simply a stall tactic to keep us from returning the car in their 3 day guarantee period. No one will return our calls now. For those âhappyâ or loyal customers⊠I have a friend who turns out worked there. He watched customers walk out of there with a smile on their face with no clue they were just scammed. They are laughing at you too!
I have reviewed the article posted, And I find it to be a misappropriation of name. Ford hater july 14 2014
Its hard to believe but its been almost 3 yrs next month since my name

The contents of this blog are false, this story is fiction and if you call the

If the above story was not true, then why did Ford MAKE you take the car back you homophobe? Slander is what you said to that young man. You are a terrible person.
Well good for you. Still a used car salesman. You’re reputation is saved. I have no reason to lie, however my income doesn’t depend on how well I lie. Yours does. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Still wont buy a Ford and still tell everyone I know looking for a car about you. Even 3 years later……
