They were pushy in trying to get me to buy it today. They don’t want to haggle on the price and their trade in values are way under blue book value. I had a 2006 Ranger that was 2 yrs old and 8,000 miles at the time and they offered me $6000 for it. Another dealer offered me 13000 the day before. Needless to say I sold my old truck online. The finance guy kept pushing me get all these add ons even after I repeatedly said no. Still wound up with add ons that I didn’t want (he added them with out my knowledge), read the contract thoughly before you sign, I obviously missed these add ons. After I found out later that this crap was added I filed a complaint with them to get them to pull it off and refund me my money. 2 months later I was refunded. Don’t purchaser here they are crooks that only care about profits not customers.
These people are money hungry, they don’t care if there is really a problem with your vehicle or not or even if its under warranty or not, all they want is your money. There vehicles are crap and their customer service is ridiculous. I bought a vehicle from them 2 years ago, that same winter we slid threw a stop light on an ice patch an in means to stop before going into traffic we pulled the e-brake which NEVER worked, we call them and they b.s. with us about how used vehicles aren’t required to have e-brakes, would have been nice to know the car i bought didn’t have an e-brake, along with broken parts, multiple things went wrong with our vehicle and it took them months to get us in to fix it all because our warranty covered it. My friend also bought a vehicle from them and they kept telling her there was nothing wrong with her car when multiple local mechanics said there was, they tried to make her wait to get it fixed until she went over her 100,000 miles so her warranty would be expired. NEVER buy a vehicle from them unless you want to be out a ton of money, time, and reliable vehicle!!!
I bought a 2007 Honda Civic Si. I purchased this car and drove it home to KC 2 hours away. 3 weeks after buying the car the clutch went out! It only had 22k miles on it! So, I called Warren B. my sales guy and he said there was nothing he could do. So, I talked to a manager and there was nothing he could do either because it was “normal wear and tear”, which I heard that about a million times. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR AFTER 3 WEEKS! I didn’t even make my first payment by this time. So, I had the car towed to my local honda dealership and they told me $1,800 for a new clutch! and joe machens toyota wouldn’t help what so ever! This is my 2nd car I’ve purchased from them and my mother is on her 2nd car from them also. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN. All they care about is selling the car and making money and then they could care less when you have a problem.
We were sold a protection package that included 4 items. We noticed after the sale that they had checked the “declined” box on one of the items, the rust inhibitor. When we questioned it, they said that Toyota does not recommend rust inhibitor. Toyota’s customer service agrees with this. We said that we were unhappy that we bought something we didn’t receive. They will not refund the money for something we paid for but did not receive.
Our purchase price of the car included cruise control to be added within 3-4 days of the purchase. They were to call when it was in. After a week I called them and had to arrange the appointment with the third party auto shop myself, because Scottie never got back to me. Funny, he called twice a day BEFORE we bought the car.
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
