Spoke to Justine on the phone and she is vey sweet. Told her we were instrested in purchasing a new Nissa truck. Was trading in a 2011 Nissan truck with 33,700 miles with a new battery, inspection, and new tires. Had all the receipts in hand. I knew what a fair price was. The manager Mike Loff walked over after looking at our truck and said he would give us 16,000 for our trade. We laughed, because he said he would have to put out 2,000 to certify it. Certify what ! all the main things were new, the paint did not have a scratch on it. The interior was pristine. We got up and walked out, total waste if time. I drove down the street and make a deal with Ardmore Toyota and got 2,800.00 more for my trade. Now who is stupid. We bought a New 4 runner, and are very happy with the way we were treated at Toyota. I would NEVER, NEVER recommend anyone to waste their time and go to this dealership to purchase a used or new vehicle. It is ashame because Justine who I first spoke to on the phone was very nice. Her Manager Mike Loff should not turn away customers, with a ridiculous number on a trade, and think I was actually going to go for it. With a credit score over 800, I could buy whatever I want. You lose, not me. You actually did me a favor.
I will never take my car to be serviced here again. I usually go to the Nissan on Ridge Pike but decided to go to Ardmore since it is closer to my job and they provide a shuttle service. The shuttle is the only good thing about the service department. And is not worth sacrificing the condition of my Car. I brought my car in initially because the check engine light came on. A few days later the issue was supposedly fixed after replacing a part covered under warranty. An unrelated visit took me back to get a tire replaced. This issue was fixed also. Now, comes the problem: Immediately after getting the tire replaced my air pressure light came on along with the check engine light. I called and they could not see my car for about 4-5 days. During these days I was forced to put air in a brand new tire daily. I finally had an appt and left the car with them all day. Upon picking the car up I have a bill for $160 dollars. They said it was $98 to diagnose the check engine light which read that I had low oil. They did the oil change for about $35 I guess and chared me $15 to check the pressure sensor. They said Nothing was wrong with the pressure and since I just needed a oil change you have to pay for the diagnosis. WHAT?? Being a woman I thought it was just me. Fist off if it was just an oil problem my OIL LIGHT would have come on as it usually does to tell me to check my oil. And I know there is a problem with the tire because it looses pressure daily. Not to mention they charged me $15 to check a tire THEY just replaced themselves. A day after paying for them to basically give me an oil change both lights came back on and the pressure was dangerously low again . I brought it back and they tried to tell me they were going to charge me another $98 and $15 to diagnose the same problems. After speaking with the SM I let them know I would not be paying them any more money. They checked the lights and actually looked at the tire to find I needed a similar part to the initial one that was replaced on my first visit 2 weeks ago and I needed a new tire stem. Since the part was going to be covered under warranty and the tire was just replaced my them I am demanding a refund of both dignostic fees. The service technician said that all events/problems were separate and not realted so I was not entitled to a refund. This is a blatant lie. They never fully fixed the initital problem and expects me to pay dignostic fees that would have been covered under my warranty had they gotten the job right the first or second visits. So, I complained to the SM. The SM said he would call Monday. It is now Wednesday. I’ve called twice. No Response. I’m so fed up with them. I just want what is right. I should have just gone to a neighborhood repair shop. smh/
I had very bad luck with dealerships over the past four years. I saw many reviews online regarding this dealership and a specific sales person Armen and decided to call him to see if he could help me as I was in an accident and needed a car bad. Armen was not only friendly, but he was not pushy like most salesman, he was honest, and did his best to help me even over the phone. Once I got to the dealership, he made me feel comfortable and gave me a great deal on a car. I wasn’t approved for a Nissan but they had a Honda Accord that was just as goood and a great car. Very nice dealership with friendly staff and they do their best to help you. Even the finance manager Tim was able to get me a interest rate that was not to bad and a payment in my range that I asked for the first time. He then called me the next day after the sale was done to tell me he found another lower interest rate! Help was phenomenal and I recommend this dealership to everyone who is looking for a foreign car!! Thanks guys for your help! Hopefully I won’t need another car in my lifetime but if i do, I know where to go and who to go to!! Thanks Armen!!
I am very happy with my car and the way I was treated at the dealership. My salesman was Armen DiFilippo and he was just a pleasure to talk to and do business with.He made me feel like a family member and that was very important to me. I hate high pressure sale. The finance guy sean was very helpfull as well. As long as i am buying Nissan I will buy from Ardmore Nissan.
I walked into the dealership just to browse and was greeted by a friendly salesman name armen. He was the only reason i bought the car. He made me feel very comfortable and I was happy with the price. As long as he is working there i will be back to buy another.
This is my 3rd Nissan. All purchased at the same location. I come back because of the service dept. headed by Don Spence. I always get my car serviced by his dept. This is why I am purchasing this car.
My salesman Frank Poglitsch was also very nice and curtious.
I’ve always thought that the general purpose of an auto repair shop is to actually repair problems, not cause problems that didn’t exist previously. After my experience with Ardmore Nissan, I am obviously mistaken as you shall see.
I drove to Ardmore Nissan for the required annual PA inspection of my car but had a brake warning light on on the dashboard. Some background – I had the brake warning light come on during a drive one morning and immediately went to a Nissan dealer in NJ where I was at the time. They fixed my conventional braking system to the tune of about $1,200 and quoted me a price of another $2,500 to fix the ABS system. I was floored by the estimate to repair my ABS so I decided to seek a second opinion which is when I drove my car across the river to Ardmore Nissan. I have a signed statement from the other dealer that my conventional brake system was in working order but that they had completely disabled my ABS. So I had no ABS but perfectly fine and operational conventional brakes.
Ardmore told me they could not pass my car for inspection purposes without first correcting the brake warning light problem. So now I’m in a bind since my car won’t pass inspection with the brake warning light on which will not be remedied until the ABS is fixed, I decided to ask Ardmore Nissan to diagnose the ABS problem. I did so for a second opinion on what needed to be done since I was unhappy with the $2,500 estimate from the other Nissan dealer. Ardmore called back a day or two later and mentioned that I needed a spindle which would add another $500+ to the ABS repair job since the other dealer did not find a problem with a spindle. At this point, I decided to cut my losses and go back to the other Nissan dealer for the $2,500 repair since Ardmore was going to cost $3,000+. I called and said I would pick-up my car and explore other options. So I went back to Ardmore to pay for the diagnostic work ($110) and to pick-up my car to drive to the other dealer and low and behold, my car was undrivable!!
During the diagnostic work they had completely destroyed my brakes with the ABS instead of being merely disabled, was now actuating constantly applying the ABS brakes anytime I tried to accelerate. I could not exceed 10 miles an hour when I left the lot! The service rep actually let me attempt to drive off the lot while knowing that my car was not operational due to the ABS problems they had caused with their botched diagnostic work! When I returned moments later, he told me matter of factly that my car was unusable due to the ABS problem – a problem they themselves had created! I had to get my car towed to the other dealer for repairs ($100+).
The NJ dealer diagnosed that Ardmore had worked on the wrong tire with the ABS problem! All this and there is a Nissan technical service bulletin detailing which tire needs to be checked when the conditions my car had exist! If I can find this information on the internet, why don’t the supposed tech experts at Ardmore know about this? What incredible incompetence!
So to recap, I spent $110 for diagnostic work which resulted in my car being completely incapacitated resulting in towing charges of another $100+! In addition to the obvious incompetence exhibited by the service techs, the service reps and manager at Ardmore are beyond belief with their complete and utter arrogance!
Stay very far away from this totally incompetent, arrogant, and uncaring service department or you too will end up in small claims court with me. And I’m sure this is a very good indicator of how they run the sales side of their dealership so be sure to steer clear of their showroom as well.
Everybody before going to any dealer doesn’t matter where you live should read the story on this site. It is a very sad story.
I noticed they were selling brand new Nissan’s on Ebay for much less than any other dealer would offer. Each dealer told me that they were lying to me, and that Ardmore Nissan would bump the price up when they got into financing.
I had a great experience, there was no bump, and they offered me a discount on extended warranties on my brand new Maxima.
Overall great experience and would recommend anyone to shop with Ardmore Nissan, check out Ebay for extra low price!
