FIRST OFF: I HAVE BEEN A SALESMAN FOR MANY YEARS.
I had spoken with a very nice Salesman at Revolution named Jason, he made me WANT to buy a car from him. In the 3 weeks I looked into Kias and came back, he had left. I had met Randy outside on my first visit so I called him. He got back to me ASAP when I called, and told me they had the exact car I wanted.
We did the deal, Bob the Sales Manager was very nice as was Eddie, another Salesman.
I did NOT finance this car, hence the 1 star rating.
They said their main focus was turning the place around from the bad experiences of the past Atlantic Kia and previous Revolution crew. They worked as a team, no cut throats…I once sold cars and know how it can be…these guys were pleasant and helpful. I got the car today and it’s great. (Optima EX with options).
MY WIFE AND I WERE SHOPPING FOR A SORENTO EX. EVERY DEALERSHIP WE WENT TO DID NOT HAVE STOCK AND COULD NOT TELL ME WHEN THEY COULD GET THE SORENTO. A FRIEND OF MINE TOLD ME TO CALL RANDY AT REVOLUTION KIA. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN WE TOLD RANDY WHAT WE WANTED WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE A WHILE TO LOCATE THE TRUCK THAT THERE WERE ONLY 11 IN THE WHOLE NORTHEAST. WE JUST GOT A SENSE OF HONESTY. RANDY CALLED US EVERY FEW DAYS TO TELL US STATUS. LONG STORY SHORT WE GOT THE TRUCK AND WE BOTH ARE VERY HAPPY
If anyone is really interested in buying a car here don’t. My salesman Gerard was the only positive thing I took out of my visit, I am sorry that he was not at another dealership. The worst thing about my time there was the General Salesmanager Tony. He is the rudest, ignorant, man I have ever met. He insisted on me buying a car, after Gerard specifically told him not to pressure me. He did not like the fact that I need to work out the numbers with my wife and we would be back in a few days to purchase the car. He was screaming and yelling at me stating his job is to pressure me into buying a 29K Kia Sorrento. I was told I needed him and he did not need me. Last time I checked this was a sales place and they live off the little person buyiing from them. Save your self the headache and 7 hours of your time. Hopefully one day Gerard will make a move and let me know where he is selling cars and I will buy from him.. Tony should be fired. He is a cancer in your store, and he looks like his staff can’t stand him as well. So do yourself a favor and do not buy your KIA from here or any of there other locations, on Long Island.
