Would not recommend this dealership to anyone, I bought a 2011 sonata se in 2010 and the sales person at the time was awesome! His name was chuck. I then go back in 2011 to trade my car for a 2013 and ask for chuck, sales manager responds back, there’s no chuck here, no chuck ever worked here, I let it go and proceeded to get a price on a 2013 limited. Price was givin, I told the sales man Chris that I would get back to him during the week as I was shopping the price. They had the lowest price, but decided to try and rob me on the trade in. They wanted to offer 14k for my trade in…. However other dealers beat them by over 2000.00 bucks when I approached the sales manager I asked him I would like to see the trade sheet that the used car manager did. He asked me for what, I answered I want to see the (acv) number and I wanted to see the dealer code on the sheet wich that I didn’t tell him. Watch your trade in with these guys they may give you a great deal on the new car but they will rap you on the trade in. Food for thought!!! Dealers use a alphabetical code starting with the letter A and ending in the letter J. a staring with the number 1 and J ending in the number 0. This is a scale of 10 letters. If you can find this dealer code on the sheet for example AFCJJ = 16,300 is the average cost on the car and ther offering you 14,000, there making 2300 of the bat without even selling the car yet. I walked out went to another dealer got a better trade and a fair price with a cheaper car note!! Win win for me!!!
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS DEALER AND PURCHASED MY NEW SONATA FROM THEM! Pacifico honored my special pricing certificate (USAA) without question and worked diligently to locate my preferred car in the color I wanted even though it wasn’t in stock (a hard-to-find Sonata Limited 2.0T). They had the lowest price of the 3 dealers provided in the pricing certificate (Pacifico, Colonial & Porter). They were straight up, easy to work with, not pushy at all and met all my expectations! Overall the experience was terrific and it was well worth it to wait a bit to get exactly what I wanted!–I love my Limited Turbo Sonata!! This is exactly the opposite of the horrible experience I had at Colonial Hyundai in Downingtown (didn’t go to Porter, the closest dealer to me as their price was way out of line). Colonial played games, told me my special pricing (and matching Pacifico’s lowest price quote) was not possible, wouldn’t honor my $500 Military Rebate, tried to up-sell (a maintenance package) to offset my special pricing and used hard-sell tactics with an unfriendly attitude (“why can’t you give us a (down payment) check today; what are you waiting for”…etc.). I told them up front that they had to match Pacifico’s price and locate a vehicle in MY color choice since they didn’t have it in stock. After all, the “Car Czar” at Colonial “says” he will match any other dealer’s price in his ads—guess his salespeople and floor managers didn’t get the memo… I even told them that I would prefer to buy from THEM since they are 20 miles away from me and Pacifico is about 45 (miles away) AS LONG AS they matched Pacifico’s price on the color choice I wanted. When they failed to match Pacifico’s price and refused to locate the color car I wanted, I walked away. Then, ironically they pursued me with calls, texts and even letters from the SM AND GSM telling me that they would do “anything” to get my business (“just tell us what we need to do”…). I told them plainly at that point (since they were annoying me) that if they had not played games from the outset that they (and not Pacifico) would get my business–simple as that. They had one chance and they blew it. Bottom line: STAY AWAY from Colonial (unless you want games, a hard sell and like being f***** with) and GO TO Pacifico instead–they are awesome!
Although buying a car is personnaly stressful I found my experience fairly calming with this dealership. They worked with me on the price and trade in and even added options I had not been expecting for free. They gladly took the time to help me understand the many intricate displays on my new dash and made my driving off the lot a happy experience and lots less stressful. Thanks Guys!
We have been loyal Pacifico Hyundai customers since 2003, and we have now bought our 3rd Sante Fe from them, even though they are about 20 miles further from our home than another close by dealer. We highly recommend Pacifico Hyundai, sales associate James Fisher and also Internet Sales Manager Cynthia Crum.
