We hope this is forwarded to the owner of Asheville Ford so you know what conscientious people you have working for you.
We are writing to commend your service staff for the assistance they gave us on Saturday, May 21.
We were traveling from the Outer Banks to our home in Memphis, TN. We stopped for gas at the BP station just north of your dealership. When we tried restarting the car, the battery was completely dead. The manager at the BP tried jumping it for us but nothing happened. We noticed your dealership and called to see if the service department was opened. Thank goodness for us, it was.

Avoid Asheville Ford
These people knew our situation, that we need a car now. When I looked the sales person in the eye and asked about a delivery date she told me 3 days. This was a Friday so we figured by Tuesday Wednesday we have a car.
I call Tuesday to arrange a pick up and schedule our day. That was 10: am. Jessica says let me walk the lot and I’ll call you right back. Did not receive a call until 3: pm, no car and now it will be 2 more days.
Wednesday Jessica calls and sorry, now it may be another 10- 11 days … sorry.
We based our decision on when we get delivery, they knew our situation and lied just to make the sale.
When I asked for a loner, sorry. Can I cancel the purchase to get another car sooner, sorry?
Just goes to prove, you can change the name over the door but a car dealership is a car dealership.
To clarify exactly what happened…Ford had a backup in the delivery of the vehicle. This was Fords issue and had nothing to do with Asheville Ford. We offered to find the customer (lonebird) another vehicle but he refused to pay for the option difference. Lonebird contacted the better business bureau as well as all of our management staff. We decided afterwards that doing business with that unhappy of a customer was not in our best interest. We called the customer to let him know that we decided to not do business with him. The customer said he was happy and still wanted the vehicle. We still did not sell him the car.
To address the issue of me being pushy…I am one of the friendliest people in the world. I love to talk and make friends with my customers. I pride myself on making friends in this business and to not be pushy.
Asheville Ford prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction.
Thank you.
