My gas pedal, my brakes, my radio, my transmission, my engine, my AC, my tires, nearly every electrical component of my vehicle has been malfunctioning intermittently since I bought it. I have taken my vehicle into Hebert’s Town & Country numerous times now for repair and/or diagnosis, but the problems with my vehicle persist with no plausible explanation from Hebert’s. I’ve had this dealership tell me everything from there’s nothing wrong with my vehicle to there’s a piece of paper on my dashboard causing my brakes and gas pedal to malfunction. Hebert has even pointed the finger at me regarding regular maintenance they claimed was never performed on the vehicle only to contradict themselves on my next visit. One visit they claimed my spark plugs were bad, but 10,000 miles later, they claimed I had 100,000 mile spark plugs that wouldn’t need servicing for at least another 50,000 miles. They have irreparably damaged several of my tires attempting to plug them, only to hide the damage and/or tell me I would have to pay out of pocket for the only tire they had in stock to fit my vehicle ($190). During my last visit, they claimed my brake issues were due to bad brake pads and rotors. I told the mechanic that I just replaced the brakes 3,000-4,000 miles ago, but he said they must have told me the replacement was done without actually doing it. I had a personal mechanic change the brake pads and rotors for me and I was assisting with the replacement, so I know the brake pads and rotors were replaced with new components. The mechanic at Hebert’s argued with me that the rotors couldn’t be new because they had a “lip” on the edge of them, but the new rotors came with a “lip” from the auto parts store. Upon further investigation into the new standards for rotors, it was discovered that most new rotors are being made with these “lips” due to federal laws now in place. I have been disrespected and deceived by Hebert’s Town & Country since I purchased my vehicle. I wish I had learned of their reputation around town before I even considered looking at a vehicle there. I URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING A VISIT TO THIS DEALERSHIP TO AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HEBERT’S TOWN & COUNTRY EVER AGAIN.
