My NEW ford truck would crank but no start. I brought the car in 6 times over a 3 year period. They could not diagnose the problem. They finally did diagnose the problem while I stood there and watched the mechanic.. Now I am out of warranty and they want me to pay. Service manager Bob said that it was my responsibility to have the problem figured out while in warranty period!? Ford corp.said they will not pay because its out of warranty..
Never again will I buy a ford..nor recommend colonial.
Made a deal on a new car with one of the salespeople here who was really great to me. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. I went to pick up the car and he passed me off to their business manager who was the complete opposite. The business manager was the rudest, most obnoxious person I have ever dealt with in business (let alone at an auto dealer). Despite the fact that I was buying a new car for nearly $30,000 cash during the “great recession”, he treated me and my wife like dirt. It started with an attempt to “hard sell” a bunch of add-on items including various extended warranties, and when I calmly told him that I was not interested, this guy just completely went berserk on us and started yelling at us and calling us “rude”, trying to intimidate us, etc.. Having worked in business contract negotiations for over 20 years, I have never encountered someone so extremely agressive and rude to a customer. Really uncalled for. To top it off when I let Ford corporate know of the event they simply told me that they would not get involved because dealers were independently owned businesses. Yeah, of course they are, but this guy is single-handedly ruining their brand equity – hello! Avoid at all costs.
