We had 2 issues with Autosprt Honda, the first just slimy, the second flat out wrong.
We were set up with Brian by the reeptionist. We test drove and worked a deal on one car, when we’re doing the final paperwork, the finance guy gets out a copy of the window sticker and it’s for a DIFFERENT car with a LOWER sticker price, pretty slimy. When I threatened to take back my deposit check and walk, they did make it right and lower the price by the difference of the window sticker. I’d suggest not using Brian if you visit Autosport.
Second, We were shopping late on Saturday 7/5 after visiting other dealers. We were told “for that price we need the car taken off the lot today”. When we purchased the car, our insurance company was closed. We were told by Brian, “since you’re trading in a car, the coverage carries over, the car is covered.” I asked him to put that in writing, he said NO, asked if Autosport would cover the car if my ins did not, again NO. but repeated the “since you’re trading in a car, the coverage carries over, the car is covered.” multiple times. Attempted to add the car online, we got a transaction pending web page. So I call this morning, 7/7 speak to an insurance rep. At end of call she says, “The car is covered as of this call”. I ask about the above statement, she says NO, it wasn’t covered, “I don’t know why dealers tell people that.” Thank God we didn’t hurt someone or total an UN INSURED car. Thanks Brian.
When purchasing a car make sure You know you’re covered, the dealership doesn’t care if you have no insurance. If you’re unsure or feel uncomfortable, walk away.
I would not recommend even though I have purchased 2 Hondas from this dealer in the last 10 years and were treated fairly. This is our local dealer and did not shop any other dealer. We were informed that our previous sales person was no longer with the company. Our new sales person could not discount the Element or give us the trade in value on our Saturn Vue that was estimated on their web site calculator. He also said that even though our Vue was in mint condition they would only offer us wholsale value as they would auction off the car and would not sell it on their lot.
2 months later the dealer is looking for a second set of keys for the Vue and calls to see if we had an extra set as they had locked the keys in the car accidently. I brought the second set key to the dealer and confirmed they had sold it off the lot at a significant profit. I told them I would never buy a car from them again and left with the Keys in my pocket.

I recently purchased a 2010 Honda Fit. Terry made the experience fast and painless. My first contact with Terry was over the phone- he quickly matched the most competitive price I had found, and actually beat it by several hundred dollars. He told me he would need a deposit so that he could get the color I wanted and install my options (armrest, alarm and keyless entry). When I went in to Autosport to put down the deposit, I was greeted with a smile at the entrance. The entire time I worked with Terry, he was patient and easy to talk to. It was clear he valued my time and respected my intelligence. There was never a SINGLE hidden fee the entire time, and every cost was presented up front.
Terry came through with the car I wanted by the time he said it would take. It was ready for pickup 6 days after I put down the deposit. When it came time to pay, I brought in a certified check for the amount, and there were no surprises. The woman in the finance department made it easy as well. She did not pressure me into buying any unnecessary extras, and told me I could think about an extended warranty, and call back later to get it (I most likely will).
Terry’s honest and up-front approach was a refreshing change from other dealers. But customer service alone wasn’t what made me go with Autosport. They gave me an excellent price. This was a deciding factor, and in the end, I’m confident I made the right choice.
I just bought a certified used odyssey from Autosport Honda andthese guys are FANTASTIC! No gimmicks, no games. The car was immaculate. Unlikeother dealers I have been to, when these guys say certified they mean it. Theychecked every detail in the car and never tried to push things on me. I got agreat price for the car over the phone (I talked to Terry) and when I wentthere I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Terry even knockeddown a couple of hundred dollars off of the already great price. I also boughtthe wrap around warranty from them at 1/2 the price of what other dealerswanted to sell it to me for. Ken took me through the whole buying process andexplained everything and when time came for me to put a deposit so that I canpick up the car the next day, I told him that I forgot my check book and hesaid lets shake hands on it and we did (honest dealers like that do not existany more!). The next day I went and picked up the car which was cleaned with afull tank of gas (nice touch!). Terry, the sales consultant, took me to the carand explained all the specs that the car has and how to operate all these keysand buttons inside. They sent me on my way and told me to call in case of anyquestions and unlike other dealers I have dealt with, I know that these guysmeant it. I can not wait to save some money so that I can go back to AutosportHonda to buy my personal car (the odyssey is the family car). If anyone is inthe marker for a new or used Honda I would encourage them to try these guys andthey will not be disappointed.
