6/2 — The Allen Memorial Art Museum (Website | Profile) will offer a training workshop for community members interested in becoming volunteer docents at the Weltzheimer/Johnson House. The house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1948 and was the first of his Usonian-style homes to be built in Ohio. The Weltzheimer/Johnson House is an excellent example of Wright’s approach to creating affordable, modern home designs for middle-class families.
