It was a pleasure having Dave help us find the car we wanted and needed. We gave him our price range and mpg requirements and he immediately showed us a good deal on a certified used car.It was a nice car but we were not excited at the prospect of owning that car. Dave understood and respected our feelings and showed us a used Ford Fusion. We drove the car and related to him that we liked it but it had a vibration at hwy. speed. Skyline’s Salem Service Dept. promptly rectified the problem by rebalancing the wheels and tires, and checking the car over one more time.The car drove perfectly from then on. Keizer’s Skyline Service Dept. also helped us in solving a minor issue with the keys to the car. There were two Service Advisors, two service crews, the person that washed the car again, and our salesman Dave all working together to make this deal right for us, and we appreciate it very much and have found a new home for all of our automotive needs. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful toward us and we could’t be happier.
Owner, Jim Donofrio, introduced me to Fleet Mgr. Don Fredrickson; so the pressure was on. Don was very generous of his time and understanding of my reluctance to “pull the trigger.” In the end, we found the right vehicle for me and Don was extremely helpful in “making the deal,” familiarizing me with the extras, and obtaining financing. I’m looking forward to enjoying my “bling-bling” car, while knowing that Skyline Ford will be there to back up their product with quality service.
Danny treated me very well–no real pressure to buy, but gave me time to think about it, then get back to him. He made a couple follow-up calls, but again, no pressure, which I really appreciated.
The “deal” itself is what sealed it, but I might not have done so, if the sales rep had been a high-pressure, “you’re not leaving until you buy/lease” kind of guy, as I experienced at another Ford dealership.
Danny has offered to help me with any questions and there is the possibility I may get in touch, as I learn more about the vehicle.
