I have had several experiences with this dealership, and all have been bad. When I was shopping for a new Ford Focus, the sales person (I don’t remember his name) was very pushy. I ended up buying the same Focus from a different dealer which was not as close to my home because they treated me better and made me feel much more comfortable buying from them. Then, two months later the parking pall broke in that brand new Ford and the car rolled backward down my driveway into the neighbor’s car across the street. My insurance company sent it to Borgman for repairs, which should have taken a little over a week. Two weeks later I had heard nothing back from the dealership, so I called to check on the repairs. I was told their “transmission guy” was on vacation, so I would not be getting my car back for at least another week. I asked for a loaner car since the repairs were taking so long, and at first they refused to give me one. After speaking to a supervisor, they finally agreed to give me loaner, but were not very friendly about it. Then, to top it off the repairs ended up taking two more weeks! All in all they had my car for 6 weeks for a minor transmission repair and a bumper replacement. The next time I contacted them it was to ask if they had changed the oil while my car was in for repairs. I was advised that they had. A few months later, I take my car back there for the next scheduled oil change, for which I had a coupon for The Works, which included an oil change as well as tire rotation. I tried to give the service rep my coupon up front but he said they didn’t need it yet. It took over an hour and a half for them to get my car up to change the oil, then I noticed they started lowering it without rotating the tires. I asked the guy at the counter about at and he said, you didn’t ask for a tire rotation! He then stated that yes, my tires did need to be rotated, but it would be an extra $11. If he had taken my coupon when I offered it he would have seen that it was included. On top of THAT when he went to ring me up, he asked me how long it had been since my last oil change, since my oil filter looked older than normal. When I advised them that I had talked to them after they made repairs and was told THEY had changed the oil, he looked in my record and said, NOPE, he doesn’t see that they ever did. Well, fool on me for taking my car back there for an oil change after all of the previous problems, but I was in a hurry and didn’t want to drive to Barber Ford in Holland. Needless to say, I will be going back to Barber from now on!!
