First impression are everything, and upon walking into this dealership the employees rush to ensure you are being treated well. Don’t let this fool you, they are hiding shady practices. My sale went great and everything went smoothly. Upon returning months later is when you realize they are not the people you thought they were. I had Ford tow my vehicle to the dealership to find a cylinder had lost all compression. The dealership notified me that they wanted 600 dollars before looking at it. (Brand new vehicle less than 10k miles and the engine has failed) After I denied the verbal contract and requested my vehicle be returned to me, they made me come pick up a very unstable car and drive it home.
There were multiple shady and corrupt clauses in the paperwork they had me sign, and I didn’t realize this until arriving home. They wanted no part in helping their customer who had recently bought a brand new vehicle from them, and the fact that they append shady clauses in the middle of long paragraphs in the hopes the customer doesn’t see it is a good representation of how shady a dealership can be once they have your money. Multiple employees were downright rude and the general manager wanted no part in keeping a brand new customer.
After further research I have found out that this dealership participates in shady practices to “look good” to Ford corporate and to obtain the yearly bonuses Ford pays to dealerships that hit a certain quota per period. They must really put on a show when auditors come because it doesn’t seem they have been found out yet. I implore Ford Corporate to investigate this dealership and the employees who run upper management who push there shady practices through the ranks all the way to the peon salesmen on the floor. I will be working directly with ford corporate to fix my issues as I have no faith in this dealership or its partner dealerships in the area.
