Extremely disappointed. 2 years ago my mother brought her car in to be serviced, and the job was not completed correctly. We therefore had to drive around for 2 years leaking oil with no idea what was causing the problem. My mother brings her truck back to Carson Toyota for service only to be told that CARSON TOYOTA was the reason the job was done incorrectly. So we were directed to someone who wasn’t a manager (even though that’s what we asked for) to see what their policy was on rectifying their own mistakes that my mother is now on the hook $1800 for. So the guy disappears and the salesperson materializes out of nowhere trying to lie saying that this missing part WAS replaced. How all of a sudden was a part missing, and now all of a sudden, the part is there. Well it turns out that someone who doesn’t even work here anymore originally made the mistake and the inept salesperson my mother dealt with didn’t bother to check the mistake but rather asks, “Would you like us to take care of that?” Oh, would I like you to fix your mistake that I now have to pay an arm and a leg for? Absolutely! My first suspicion arose when the salesperson had offered my mother 50 dollars off for the mistake, and that it wasn’t something they would normally do and he would get in trouble for. My second suspicion arose when he calls us at 7pm that night telling us the car was ready, and that they were closed but he would wait for us. So you can sweep this little problem under the rug while no one is around? Clever, but no dice. We arrived promptly at 8am Monday morning, and my mother put on quite a show for being lied to. I’m sure we will be the topic of conversation around here for years to come. We got reinbursed for the part, but the service leaves something to be desired. Especially if these back alley deals are the norm when dealing with a problem THEY caused. Needless to say we will never step foot in this location again. Special thanks to Jhordan for his impeccable skills at screwing everything up. We hope you get thoroughly retrained in the ways of avoiding mistakes and lies. Oh and by the way thanks for not bothering to wash my mother’s car. That’s the final nail in the coffin.
Found out that from this last most recent experience with them, they ruined my mother’s truck by cracking a bolt that subsequently made the car leak ever since we got it back from them, (Not to mention that they charged her for car that was never fixed correctly) and had to take it to an ACTUAL mechanic to find out what a half ass job Carson Toyota’s “outstanding” mechanics did. The truck hadn’t been driven since the leak, just back and forth to the mechanic to find out why there were continuous puddles of oil in our driveway. He even went above and beyond (A far cry from what Carson Toyota has done) after it was concluded that there was a bolt that was left broken by Carson Toyota, then subsequently filled with silicone, to call Carson Toyota to rectify the issue THEY caused. Instead of admitting their mistake, they get into a verbal altercation with him, demanding that he PROVE they broke the bolt. No apology for crappy service, no effort to even sound contrite about it. Just yelling and screaming. Again, the leak started immediately after coming home from Carson Toyota, and the truck hadn’t been driven anywhere but to the mechanic.
All this does is confirm that this family owned business is full of nothing but cheaters, liars, and lazy workers. And if this is how they choose to do business, then I have no problem letting everyone know. If you want your car ruined, get charged for it, and receive atrocious customer service, come to Carson Toyota!
I have purchased 4 Toyota vehicles over the years from Carson Toyota and in every case, my wife and I have been treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. In addition, we regularly service our vehicles at Carson and have always had a great experience. I would recommend the folks at Carson Toyota to all my friends and family.
