My Cal West Motors reviewI purchase my car from Cal West Motors in April 2007. In June 2008 my engine caught on fire. I paid them $1000 to fix my car and it only ran for 1 week after that. I took my car back and forth to them for a month and it was still not repaired. My car has been sitting ever since. Now I'm fixing my vehicle and I have spent another $500 to fix things that became messed up from the crappy engine they installed. And I still need to put another engine to replace the one that never worked. I am having my car repaired thru the BAR program, and I was told that my engine was never repalced.

My Cal West Motors reviewI HAVE TO SAY IT IS HARD TO FIND AN HONEST ATTORNEY ,MECHANIC OR CAR SALESMAN BUT I FINALLY HAVE.A FRIEND HAS BOUGHT CARS FROM CAL WEST AND SPECIFICALLY ABDUL THE OWNER, FOR YEARS.I BOUGHT A CAR HERE THIS MONTH. VERY LOW MILES UNDER 10K STILL UNDER ORIGINAL WARRANTY SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THOSE ISSUES SO I CANNOT ATTEST TO THEIR SERVICING OF VEHICLE BUT I CAN TELL YOU I PAID 2500 UNDER THE NEXT LOWEST PRICE I COULD FIND FOR MY CAR ONLINE…I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH SO KNEW I WAS GETTING A GREAT DEAL AND NO SURPRISES IN THE FINE PRINT.THE STAFF IS VERY APPROACHABLE AND IF THEY DO NOT HAVE WHAT YOU NEED THEY WILL LOOK FOR IT AND GET BACK TO YOU IF THEY FIND WHAT YOU WANT IN YOUR PRICE RANGE…TO ME THAT’S A MAJOR PLUS.I PAID APPROX 75% UPFRONT AND ABDUL CARRIED ME ON THE BALANCE.HE TOLD ME HE DOES IT ALL IN HOUSE ANYWAY AT 10% INTEREST.YOU WOULD HAVE TO CHECK WITH THEM ON THE DETAILS.BUT…THEY HAVE NEWER MODELS LOW MILEAGE.OLD BEATERS WITH HIGH MILEAGE AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN THEY SELL CARS VERY FAST SO THERE ARE A TON OF OPTIONS.THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I HAVE EVER GIVEN ANYONE IN SALES.I WILL BUY ANOTHER FROM THEM NOT JUST BECAUSE I MADE OUT WITH A PRACTICALLY NEW CAR FOR WAY LESS THAN MY MONTH OF ONLINE RESEARCH COULD FIND BUT BECAUSE THEY WILL BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO GET YOU WHAT YOU NEED.BY THE WAY MY FRIEND HAD PURCHASED 5 CARS FROM THEM AND HAS NEVER HAD AN ISSUE OTHER THAN THE NORM AND IT WAS ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF PROMPTLY.MR LEE THE SALESMAN IS NEW I GATHERED AND KEPT SMILING EVEN THOUGH I ASKED A MILLION QUESTIONS AND I NEVER FELT THAT USED CAR PRESSURE SO I IN TURN BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM HIM AND I WILL BE BACK TO BUY MY SECOND CAR FROM THEM IN ABOUT 6 MONTHS WHEN I REPLACE MY SECOND RIDE.
