For those screwed by this dealer. Mitsu corp does not care, they said as much in a letter I received from them. However one disgusted customer service agent gave me mr. Schumans cell phone number: 847-404-8800. Tell him what you think. I did. They screwed this vet over bad. Not sorry they closed. Goodbye to bad rubbish.
UPDATE: For those of us screwed by this dealer and can’t get ahold of anyone. Mitsubishi corp does not care, however mr.schumans cell phone number given to me by a caring employee at mitsu corp. #847-404-8800. I did not ask the persons name, nor would I give it if I did. They screwed this veteran over bad. Please feel free to call him all you want. Its the only satisfaction you will get. 1st mitsu I have owned and thanks to this dealer and mitsu corp it will be the last.
This place closed and when I bought my car almost 2 years ago, I was given free oil changes. The place closed suddenly. I called customer service and they gave me a persons name who was supposed to be at the location from 9-1, so i went on my lunch hour and he was not there. They gave me his name so I tried calling 2-3 times and he never called me back. So where do I go from here? No more free oil changes and Mitsubishi is not going to do anything about existing customers and we get screwed because they shut down the dealership????
This place is the worst dealership I have ever been to . mitsubishi corp. Should take responsibility for this dealerships action. Lifetime oil changes given at time of purchase then the dealer gets shut down for shady practices. Took almost two months and 5 calls to get my trade in paid off. My old finance company was putting me in collections. Dealer damaged the clear coat on my car and further damaged it when they ” repaired” it. At this point unless mitsu corp. Doesn’t do anything I will never purchase a Mitsu again. Period. Thankyou for all the stress mitsu. Thankyou for the life time oil changes I will never receive. Thankyou for treating a disabled vet like crap. Damn you.
Why would a United States Veteran purchase a Mitsubishi when there’s a Ford and Buick store right next door? Don’t be naive….This is a big wake-up call….support your American Car Companies.
THEY WERE GREAT AND VERY HONEST…. THEY MUST OF SOLD 20 CARS THE DAY WE WERE THERE. NOT EVERYBODY MADE A DEAL BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE MADE THEM STUPID OFFERS. MY WIFE AND I WERE AMUSED BY ANOTHER COUPLE WHO OFFERED THEM
20.000 FOR A 32.000 OUTLANDER…
I have experienced shoddy treatment from car dealers in the past, but this one takes the cake.I had seen a car advertised online,so i called and talked to a manager who assured me the car was there.I explained I was coming from a long way,so I wanted to make sure it was there.Of course when I got there, the car had just been sold that day, even though it was the same day I called. The salesman Nick was walking around like a little girl trying to show me a car completely different from the one I called on.I would never even think about doing business with that place. They are blatant liars.
UPDATE TO: My mother in law was scammed at Grand Mitsubishi. Today Grand Mitsubishi bought back the new car they scammed my mother in law into. That’s how bad those two deals were. When I took my mother in law in to pick up the car she traded in the owner J. Allegretti was there and my mother in law walked over to him I stayed back by the front counter just listening. His 1st comment to this tiny frail 80 yr was “ARE YOU THE ONE WITH THE GOOD CREDIT? She replied embarrassed at the question,”No I’m the other one” And his next words said in a very nasty tone of voice “you are ruining your friends credit” and “how bad her credit is! trying to make her an 80 yr old lady feel bad! So I stepped in and told that owner “the friend was supposed to be co signer”, and that my mother in laws credit wasn’t that bad and J.Allegretti screamed…”ITS HORRIBLE she cant buy a car”! He yelled at me that I wasn’t there, very cocky little man, so I yelled back, and neither were you and you will be buying this car back! And J.Allegetti yelled “Have you had enough to drink today” I said “I don’t drink and then I proceeded to make a comment to all the customers in the store “to watch what they are signing”! And the troops came pouring out their offices like worker bees hovering to save the queen bee, they yelled at me to get out of their store and to call the cops! to which I replied” please call the cops if you wont I will. Today the lawyer was brought in and it happened, Grand Mitsubishi repurchased that new car…..its over. they were wrong. ..trust me, no one should ever buy a car there. Oh and they all hid in their office while lawyer was in today. BIG GUYS HUH ? The owner of this place is the most obnoxious little man. Very evil man to have to deal with. To try and act like my mother in law did something wrong… she did! She trusted them. She has been a nervous wreck over this whole experience and shes old enough to be all of those salesmen’s and the owners grandmother. Shame on all the men at Grand Mitsubishi and their treatment not only to women but to elderly senior women. I will have to say one man there Dave was very helpful and acted like a man and not a shark, Dave if u read this find a better place to work, those men will keep you in messes like this. They did pass the whole mess on your desk.
And for the record : they charged these women 24k for 2009 lancers, what a rip off! I’m so glad my mom in law is out of that car loan.:)
Scammed 2 elderly senior women into new cars for top price and messed up financing, strong armed my mom in law into a new car she wasn’t even there to buy..she went with friend to purchase a new car. These women were 70 and 80, While in finance office “TOM” asked my mother in law “what about you don’t you want a new car too”? and “TOM” asked “what kind of car she drove” To which my mother in law replied” my credits not really good and a 1994 t-bird” and “TOM” said ” oh that car is in the cash for clunkers deal I can give u 4300 for your car and your good friend can CO-SIGN for you”. So the women from that point “were hooked” TOM! kept saying over and over…”what a good friend you have” During this process my mother in law got up to walk out because she sensed something wrong, her name wasn’t on any paperwork. TOM! said “oh don’t worry sit down LOOK your name is here,(we don’t know what he showed her). Both loans were put through Chase Bank in the friends name only. Chase Bank approved one and denied one. The denied loan was the friends car! The woman who started out to buy a car with good credit, her car loan was the one denied! Grand Mitsubishi had ace up sleeve, (they shoved the denied loan right through their own financing MMCA – Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America). They offered my mother in law 2 thousand dollars to just shut up about this and go away. We won’t go away. She doesn’t want to pay for a car that she’s not on the title or registration. THE Dealership is now claiming the “friend” bought my mother in law a car in her name. aka straw purchase. If the “friend” had such great credit..why did CHASE bank deny one? Both women traded in old cars, the dealership didn’t even put on either loan,on paper it only shows they gave them rebates. This is by far the worst dealership in Illinois. The headaches and stress they have put my family through. Shameful

I bought my Subaru off their used lot last year and I had a great experience. The salesmen were a little pushy, but it was way better than any other dealership I’d gone to, especially the domestic manufacturers. I got a good price after much negotiations and a few little extra perks thrown in. The owner himself came and sat down with me to close the deal, and although eager to sell the car, he knew what I wanted and made it happen. The finance department urged me to buy an extended warranty on the car as well, and that saved my butt when the turbo had to be replaced last month. (So i recommend the extended warranty by all means)
In any case, i’m sorry to hear others had problems here, but it’s not all bad. In fact, i’m sure their case is what happens least often
Worst group of salesmen that I have ever encountered. Bait and switch was the main way of doing business
