Saalesperson was nice, but wasn’t listening to our needs. Tols them a payment of nothing over $350 if not lower if possible, kept bring a sheet out with $390-405 a month on it. No staff would tell me the percentage rate on the loan, how nuch they were giving for my trade(which I own), or price before taxes for the car. Prices were inflated $1500-2300 over “build” price on Kia Motors. When I asked if I could just order a new Kia I was told they couldn’t order “new cars” even though they are a new car dealer. Also was told that it would be “extra” if I they found me a new Kia at another Kia dealer. I called a few Kia dealers to inquire about this and all said it was untrue! $1595 added onto every new car on the lot for “undercoated/rust protection and fabric protection”, then when asked if they could justify or show me what they do to the car to justify this price increase they wouldn’t! Had to ask for my car keys 4 times before they brought them to me. Then 2 weeks later come to find out they had ran my co-signer’s credit several times at different banks(shot-gunning), in turn dropping her credit score 80 points. Then when we called to confront them about this, they were all very rude. Needless to say, I WOULD NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THERE!!! IT’S A WASTE OF TIME!
ALSO I DID NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM. THANKS FOR TRYING TAYLOR.
There is a definite pressure from the sales force. The sales manager interfered with the sales process to gain a commission himself. We shared our feelings about some of their products and chose another brand for our second car. This elicited a stream of negative comments to us. My service experience is a definite negative. There is inadequate seating in the service area and someone turned on blaring country music in the sales area which was so loud that you could not hear the TV. I have my doubts about the integrity of the service department.
My partner and I had an Amazing time at Taylor KIA. Our salesman Chris was fun and knowledgeable. He showed us the Soul and the Forte. He even pulled them up for us because it was raining out. We fell in love with the Soul. 🙂
We both found it easy to negotiate with them and after looking on line to see what others pay for the same car, we got a GREAT DEAL! A really Great Deal, Wow! Thank you guys and especially thank you Chris. I will definitely be back with my mom. Jenny and Paula
This young man was very helpful, no pressure just showed me how there car offered me more than the rest. Awesome place people are so nice. And just use the internet and compare prices that’s what I did no one even compares to the KIA cars. Thanks guys for your help.:)
Absolutely the most deceitful, dishonest finance manager I have ever encountered. Agreed to purchase a vehicle, and because they wanted to make a sale they encouraged us to do a 3 week hold on a down payment. We did not want to be strapped so we wrote them a post dated check for June 4, 2010. Manager stated they would hold it, and so did sales person. Bought vehicle May 21, 2010, and they cashed the checked May 25, 2010. This is their practice, so don’t trust anything they say to you. It is not illegal to cash a post dated check, however, they mislead you and falsely state their intentions. We notified our bank and they returned the check to them to be cashed on the correct date, it was a matter of principal. On June 2, 2010, we found out they sent our check to a collection agency. Mind you it is not June 4, 2010, and all they had to do was honor their word and cash it on the date written and verbally agreed upon. Don’t do business with this dealership!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
I had the same exact thing happen at the Kennesaw, GA Kia a few weeks ago. They told my husband, daughter (who was buying car) and me that they would hold her check 3 weeks. The check was dated 4/6, they cashed it on 4/12. When my daughter went in to complain they said they never do 3 week holds on checks. The finance manager was the one that told us because he wanted to close the deal no matter what. This put my daughter in a bad bind with other items coming through her account. I will NEVER go to Kia again. Wish I had read this first.
