They did a gretjob. I have bought 4 kia sorento’s from them and am happy with each one.
The organization and tactics used by this dealer are by far the worse thing I have experienced in my life! One thing they are very good at… EXCUSES!!! It took me over 2 months to get the paperwork for my title. Everytime I would call (mind you, they NEVER called me), but everytime I would call it would be one excuse after another! I even had to drive one of their rental cars for over a month until they got their *it* together. The sales manager actually got snippy with ME because I called KIA corporate to ask what was going on. Told me he didn’t appreciate it, and my response was if they knew how to do their jobs and knew how to return a phone call I would not have had to call corporate.
Anyways… good luck and make sure you call them EVERYDAY!
Henry Bacon made it fun and easy to purchase our new Kia Sportage!
I would recommend that if you are looking to purchase a new or used vehicle….call Henry!
My wife and I were treated beyond great, Thanks to Henry.
We will by Kia again and we will only buy from Henry.
Thanks,
P.Stewart
I just bought a car from Mike Steven Kia and I got a great deal on a great car! The salesman I worked with was really terrific he was not pushy at all he never put any pressure on me to buy one car or another. We worked together as a team to find me the car I really loved. I let them know where I wanted to be in monthly payments and they worked with me to achieve that. I got a fair price for my trade in also. I am very impressed with this dealership and I will recommend them to my friends and family and I will defiantely shop here again.
Check their BBB ratings! They have an F for a reason! This is the 3rd KIA (this last one was brand new!) I have owned and I am so upset with the “dirty” and “sleezy” methods they use I will be driving to Dodge City for my next one!
This dealership is a poor excuse for Wichita and Kia-beware and we suggest not purchasing from them. It took over 2 months for them to send our owners manual and by then we had a warning light on. After at least 8 phone calls, they did send it. One excuse they gave my husband was they couldn’t find an envelope large enougth to mail it out in.:confused:Pleasssse, are we adults or what here? In early October we discussed an appointment to have the window tinting repaired that was scratched and torn by Kia’s lock box and not repaired before we picked up the Spectra. As their general sales manager asked, we called 2 days prior to confirm the appointment in late October and they said they would have someone call back to confirm. I have an hour drive, (this is my one day off of work before Christmas break) it is mid afternoon on the day of the “planned” appointment, and I have made 2 phone calls to see if we are indeed scheduled for the repair today, and still no one can confirm or call me back. The first phone message in response to the torn/scratched tinting was that they wouldn’t repair it, but they would remove all of it since there was damage to it. Never mind we bought the 2009 with tinting and expected it to be in tip tip condition. On one of the later follow up phone calls, I asked for the sales mgr and after hearing the situation, he did say if indeed the lock box tore it they would repair it.
The 2009 car had 4,000 miles on it on the day of purchase, and had been used by their service dept, however, 2 days after we purchased it it smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke:( we could smell it before we even opened the door. Whatever odor control they used sure worked for 2 days as we had no idea on the day we test drove it and drove it home. They did say they could run a machine for 3 hrs to clean it out, but that was to be done when the window tinting repair work was to be done and no one will confirm that appointment. We assume a dealer selling new cars would take care of that BEFORE the new owner picks it up. Also, we drive our autos for a long time, and do not trade frequently,(finally traded in our 18 yr old clunker for this) but of all our purchases, both used and new, this is the first dealership that didn’t provide us with a full tank of gas, and refused when my husband asked. Another issue is they did not handle the paperwork and old tag correctly with our trade in for cash for clunkers. We learned this from the tag department when my husband bought plates. He had to pay something extra for them to send to the state for the title and their comment was the dealer should have handled it differently.
We will not buy from Steven again, and will suggest to anyone that asks, that they avoid this dealership also. I wondered why we hadn’t received dealer review forms to complete in the mail for their service like we did when we bought a new Toyota ;)and Ford, ;)and now we know they don’t want anyone to know the truth. I hope this helps someone else and good luck if you do purchase from them.
Had the vehicle for 2 days and now the Service Engine light is on and it sputters. Will they fix it? The warranty the salesman kept touting as the best in the city for used cars only covers 50 percent if it is not the powertrain. (we did not find this out until we were in the middle of signing papers as the salesman kept saying the warranty covered 100% of repairs) To diagnose the problem there, it will cost around 60 bucks :(, unless the powertrain is the problem (then it would be 100%). They claim 60 bucks is 1/2 of the cost to inspect the vehicle 😮 when I can get a vehicle inspection elsewhere for 69.99. So, basically they jack up the cost of repairs so you pay close to 100% of the real cost to diagnose and repair the vehicle. So, they sell me a defective vehicle, and two days after buying it it shows it’s defect, and I am stuck with the repair bill. 😡 How nice!!! Every other car dealer I have been to will at least diagnose for free if the vehicle is under warranty and they don’t charge me for the inspection, even if it is a covered item. I guess I am just used to dealing with reputable dealers and I should have expected less by purchasing a used vehicle from this place!
We purchased a new (240 mi) KIA Opitma that was not as stated or indicated on the invoice. When we took this vehicle, dealer preparation consisted of spraying a deodorant on the car mats. The windows were dirty all around. This vehicle was delivered with less than a half tank of gas. When this was brought to their attention we were told that KIA motor corporation stopped paying to fill the tank on delivery of the vehicle by the sales manager.
Had we not gone to the dealership the title probably would have still been in a desk drawer waiting to be mailed out delaying the registration.
Stevens KIA motors will not get any more of our business, nor would we recommend any others to do business with this dealership. Maybe when Mike Stevens learns about customer service and that the life of his dealership depends on giving good customer service and treating the customers properly than our recommendation would change. Until then this dealership will get the review that they deserve and worked so hard for.
