Do not buy from this dealer. We had a very bad experience with this dealer. They gave a great rate compared to the dealers nearby us. So we were fine buying the car from 100 miles away than from the one near us. But the agent was very inefficient and had ordered the wrong interior color. And it took them 3 weeks to get the car when they said we would get in few days initially. The agent didn’t make efforts to call and inform that too. We had to call him many times and he kept delaying it and finally it was 3 weeks by the time we got it and we were disappointed that it was the wrong interior. But we were not ready to wait for another few weeks, so we just negotiated to add some extra lights for the mistake. But they were stubborn to do the paperwork the same day, though it was so late and we were starving. And even after that it took close to a week for them to deliver the car.
I could go on and on about all the bad experience and the inefficient salesman they had. On top of all this, in the end that salesman told us that we could get some cash for $150-$200 if we filled out a good survey about them. We didn’t care about that and filled out a negative survey.
In the end, it was not worth the $1000 price difference to go through all the struggle we went through. If possible, I would strongly suggest to buy somewhere else.
Complete scammers.
Do not buy from these piece of _-_-_.
If you do buy from them, READ EVERYTHING PERTAINING TO CONTRACTS, ETC!!!!
I bought a car from them, and they explained everything out, and I agreed to some stuff and declined some other optional packages and warranties……Several months later, I was looking for a phone number to toyota, and actually re-read some of the contract, and they added on a bunch of crap (several thousand dollars), that I specifically declined to pay for.
I was told to sign one sheet to verify I DECLINED a premium maintainance package, and they printed on the contract, that my signature is to ACCEPT the package.
They also told me I had a 100,000 mile warranty from TOYOTA. Turns out they sold me (without my knowledge) a 100k mile warranty from Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. for $1100. Serra gets a pretty good % off all the contracts they (serra) sells for Fidelity. Then Fidelity refuses to pay for any repairs made.

All in all, this experience reminded me of why every single comment I’ve heard about Serra, was derogatory.
Also, dont buy a car from a sh!tty stealer, like Serra, anywhere close to the end of the sales month. That’s when the pressure is on the boy’s to rip you off, to meet their quota’s.
