Stay away from these people. I purchased a used BMW 760LI that was on Ebay.
you can see the Ebay ad here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140536997986&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT
I am PVHAZELL the high bidder on the car. Pacific Porsche refused to sell the car for that amount. Carl Toflemire who is the General Sales Manager refused even though I was the high bidder and demanded another $700 and threatened to sell the car to other people if I did not pay that amount!
I drove down from Vegas to purchase the car. My salesperson Mike Tunney was professional and courteous as well as the lady who handled the paperwork. The rest of the staff act like they are doing you a favor and exude some sort of superiority complex when you deal with them. The Finance manager especially. He tried to get me to get a loan through him and I said sure if you can beat my financing? He then popped off with, “that depends on your credit” I laughed at that. He had no idea whom he was dealing with and his arrogance and temarity were quite evident.
While driving the car home 2 hours later, the high pressure fuel pump failed. $3200 part! I had the smarts to purchase an aftermarket warranty and it paid for itself. I notified Carl Toflemire about the fuel pump issue and that the car had a cracked wheel on the inside. He said he would get back to me. I sent him pictures of the cracked wheel and filed a BBB complaint against Pacific Porsche and Toflemire since he failed to respond to my conerns for over 3 weeks.
His excuse is that he did not know what wheel I had? and I needed to send him pics of the wheel so he could replace it. That is what he told the BBB. As you can see from his add on Ebay, there are plenty of pics of the wheels on the car. I sent him the specs of the wheel including the offset and as of yet he has done nothing to rectify this situation.? My last email to him was that I will see you in Small Claims Court for the deceptive business practices and the defective wheel.
To date I have not received a replacement wheel nor the difference in my high bid and the price they demanded I pay.
Stay away from the these people! 😡
Happy with the service
🙂
Do your homework. I purchased a 2005 Boxster S with 26K miles on it. I asked the sales person if the 30k service was done and he said yes. I then asked if the records were available for the vehicle, since the car was purchased and serviced at this dealership, again he said yes. Well here it is 4K miles later and the car needs service about $1200 not surprised just a little disappointed, this is Porsche right. I also need tire soon it appears. I did check the tires but did not know what the tread depth was for the low profile tires, my fault there. I would expect more then half of the tire wear to be left not the case $1750 to be spend soon. So my good deal turned out to be an over priced boxster in the end. Spend a little more if you have to but don’t buy from these guys, it will save you money in the end.

I purchased a brand new 2007 Carrera 4S from the dealership based upon the representations that they had a system that would integrate an XM radio and Bluetooth for a cellular phone with their audio system. The dealer installed a Tooki System and this system has failed to work correctly from the original purchase date in early 2008. They have tried to repair it on numerous occasions and have even taken it out and tried a different system that didn’t work either. Their attorney represented to me that if they couldn’t fix it they would repurchase the car. The dealer took the car back, took out the 2nd system and reinstalled the Tooki system, which still does not work correctly. They reneged on their promise and I intend to file suit for breach of warranty, misrepresentation and fraud. Do your homework before trusting this dealer.
The dealer has not resolved the problem and doesn’t intend to without a legal battle.
After having made the prior post, Pacific Porsche’s service department has done back flips for me to replace a light. When I went there, I was immediately given attention to, they didn’t even write the paperwork up, just had the light repaired and washed my car. They even offered me something to drin. I still brought up the issue of the radio and phone and was once again told well there may be an update; but I understand your problem as I live in my car with my satellite raiod and my phone Do you know how many times I have been told this? More than I can count on my fingers! While they are trying to give me good service, they have ignored the fact that they have sold me a car with a defective product and basically told me by not satisfactorily solving the problem, that it still isn’t there problem and they are not willing to stand by the representations of their salesperson and sales manager which induced me to purchase the car! Empathy and understanding do not fix the problem.
