I guess this would be a delayed review of Lakeland Hyundai. I purchased a 2016 Tuscon at Lakeland Hyundai sometime in late 2015. I test drove a limited edition with all wheel drive and decided to by it. I checked the price of the 2016 Tuscon all wheel drive on various internet sites ans thought the price Lakeland Hyundai offered me was a good deal. At the time of the purchase I asked the salesman several times if the vehicle I was purchasing was the vehicle I test drove. He assured me it was the same vehicle. Now, in late 2017 I moved to east Tennessee and in January I got stuck in the snow. It was then that I noticed that my Tuscon was not an all wheel drive vehicle. Only one front wheel was spinning in the snow and I had to be towed. Of course living in Florida up until late 2017 I had no way of seeing that my Tuscon was a two wheel drive and not all wheel. Thinking back to the time of purchase I failed to take the vin number of the vehicle I test drove. I normally do this because I know it’s a common practice for customer to test drive one vehicle and switch it for a less expensive model at the time of the purchase! I am disappointed and angry that Lakeland Hyundai pulled the switch and took advantage of me. Shame on you! This is my last Hyundai!
