My experience at Doug’s Hyundai was great!! Like going to any car dealership of the past, I felt skeptical of the car buying process. I was greeted promptly and felt relaxed with my sales person. I noticed the employees around seemed happy and available to answer questions, and at the same time I did not experience any high pressure. The atmosphere was light and uplifting. It was a nice experience. Everyone I spoke to was profession and very kind. I felt NO hard sales tactics like I’ve felt in other dealerships.
The negotiating of the deal was a little timely, but went very easy and smooth. Kyu was an awesome salesman, trying hard to match the deal I had budgeted at home, regarding my trade and the newer car. I was able to stay within the budget and felt Kyu was taking into consideration what I could actually afford. They were also able to negotiate a few extras within the deal at my request. At the end, I felt extremely happy to drive my new vehicle home!!
Soon after purchasing the 4WD and after using it in the recent snow, which the SUV performed awesome, a serious mechanical malfunction arouse making the vehicle un-drivable. Upon bringing the malfunction to the dealers attention, and since I had only owned the vehicle a short time with no warranty coverage for this item, I went directly to the General Manager – Young Lee. After investigating the problem, it turned out to be a very costly fix.
Through honest, direct and professional communication, we were able to settle this matter with no costs to me. Doug’s Hyundai took care of the problem fixing the malfunction!! The service manager – Randy took the time to explain in detail the malfunction and what they did to repair it. I was given a loaner car at no cost. My 4WD SUV was returned to me clean, shinny and drivable. It was very exciting to get my vehicle back!!
In continuing to display their high level of integrity and costumer care, I
receive a call from the owner, who was concerned with my satisfaction. He spent a least 30 minutes talking with me, and wanted me to know how important costumer service and costumer care is to him and to their organization. I enjoyed the conversation and feel very satisfied for doing business with Doug’s Hyundai.
Overall, I give this dealer a 5 star and would recommend anyone to them.
After posting this, I noticed the sad face in the rating. In my opinion, it should have been a HAPPY FACE as my experience was very good as I stated in my post! Once my post was submitted no changes could be made…. so I would like this additional post to represent my happy face!!!
