Gary, the sales guy was amazing! Unfortunately, the rest was a total nightmare!! “Reese” is an idiot and does not know a thing about financing. She screwed up EVERYTHING and it took 3 contracts to make it right since the first 2 contracts went “missing.” Sabotage? Possibly since she no longer works there… Her attitude was very condescending as well. J.R., the manager claims he is new (not my problem) and apparently should start micro-managing his staff for accountability. My calls were not returned. I had to get temp tags twice since they screwed up the paperwork over and over again. In fact, when they delivered to me the 3rd contract to sign, No one at Nissan had signed it first. I took the risk of signing the contract with the agreement that they would personally deliver the copy to me the very next day. It took 11 days to get the contract to me by mail after 3 ugly phone calls (against the law!) This place is a SCAM and a joke. My kids could run that place better and they are 12 years old!! In addition, I did not end up getting the price that was agreed but considering everything I had went through I was just happy to be rid of them since I had the car for almost 2 months before everything was finally resolved.
Sheehy Springfield is ok, my experience is mixed.
Good
Price – I bought the used car for a couple thousand less than comparable cars at other nearby dealerships,
Sales Service – The salesperson (Cindy) was helpful before and after sale and not pushy.
Quality-The car has performed well, I’ve had it for almost 3 months
Bad
-Had to wait over 3 hours to talk to the payment clerk, then the paperwork was wrong. They had the wrong price written, they included a lien when there was none.
-If you are out of state, do the title work yourself. Sheehy will charge you more than 100 dollars extra for doing the title work. They made me sign a blank power of attorney form. The title clerk of Sheehy and the titling agency they used both dropped the ball, I was on the phone constantly trying to get my tags before my temps ran out, they ended up sending me new temp tags, and barely got the plates to me before they also ran out.
-The car was more than a quart of oil below the low mark.
The JUKE is our first Nissan and we love it. This was also our first visit to Sheehy Nissan of Springfield and I cannot wait to tell people how well we were treated. No pressure and detailed answers to all our questions.
We had decided on a Rogue until my wife walked in and saw the JUKE. After that the goal was to find one and buy it immediately. No regrets – for my wife it was love at first sight! Listed as 4 door wagon – very misleading – the JUKE is a sports car. It is classy, affordable, and high performance. The JUKE is turning heads in our neighborhood and we have had people even walk right into our garage to look at it. I only wish my wife would let me drive it!
It handles great with FWD or AWD settings, great manueverability, good performance, and extremely comfortable. I would recommend both the JUKE and SHeehy Nissan of Springfield.
Sincerely happy,
Dave
What a great service crew at Sheehy Nissan in Springfield. I have been using them for just over two years now, and each time I pick up my Armada, I leave with a complete understanding of the problem was, the steps they took to rectify the issue and the satisfaction of knowing I paid a fair price for a job done right, the first time.
Generally, I stay away from service departments at dealerships, due in no small part, to the shady reputations some of them hold in the industry. However, I will not hesitate to use or to recommend the service crew at Sheehy Nissan. They have proven themselves as honest, competent and efficient. What more can a customer ask for?
In addition, I know it seems a bit trivial to mention, but EVERY TIME I pick up my Armada, it has been washed, dried & the interior has been vacuumed.
I am completely satisfied and will be a long term customer.

The salesman did everything he could to help us. In fact he found us the exact car we had been searching for. It was all down hill from there. Finance Dept. indicated we had 90 days until the first payment. However, the first payment wound up being due the following month. When we called the dealership, the girl who wrote the finance documents lied and said we requested the earlier payment. (I expect she has no idea how seriously her error impacted my family -not that she would care!) The car had problems that were discovered after purchase. The CD player didn’t work — that took 2 service calls to get the repair right. Their car wash people pulled the SUV into the bay to wash it and crashed the bay door down onto the truck!! That turned out to be a protracted nightmare for a rented car, over 1 week for the repair, with many unnecessary and time consuming phone calls. The windshield wipers on the vehicle didn’t even work properly when I bought the car. A tail light was out… makes me wonder if they ever checked out the car before it was put on the lot for sale. During the process of trying to get the repairs done, most of our calls were never returned. Arthur, the manager, was the WORST. When the body repair work was finally completed and the car was returned to me I discovered that even the body shop that they swore by didn’t clean up the mess they left in the back of the truck. There is body repair dust everywhere – including covering the stroller I use for my toddler and my infant. BOTTOM LINE: These people are as irresponsible and unprofessional as they could possibly be. Save yourself the trouble. Go someplace else. PS: Yesterday I discovered that the passenger side mirror doesn’t adjust properly. You can guess where I am NOT taking the truck to get the repair done!
