My fiancé and first went to ford on amherst st in Nashua nh, which was a NIGHTMARE. the salesmen we were given was extremely rude, I told him numerous times I was not driving a car off the lot that day and that I was just looking and wanted to do my research. I told him I like to sleep on things before I make my decision.. His response was did you sleep on it before you bought that north face you are wearing. To make a long story short I grabbed my purse and walked out. 🙂 I went to Londonderry ford where I met Raul, he was very nice, honest, and listened to my needs. I told him what I wanted to pay and he made it happen. They did not have the car I wanted in there inventory (2013 ford escape SE) and I had my heart set on white with black interior. Raul found the exact crossover that I asked for and had it shipped from CT. I had my car in two days. He called frequently with updates on where my car was and when it would be in. This is my first time leasing and he made it very easy and stress free. He got my the price I could afford and overall I was very pleased with his service. I would defiantly recommend him to anyone!
went to ford of londonderry to buy a van made a deal went to sign and pick up my van and the deal was all wrong. what they said to me verbaly and what was on paper was totaly different they tried to screw me i have been buying vehicles from them for over ten years but after this i will never buy from them again.
I had bought my previous truck which was brand new from this dealership and it went somewhat smooth so I figured I would give them another shot at my business. I made an appt with my salesman to test drive the car. Well the car was on empty when we took it for the drive so we had to stop and fill it up on our test drive and we were rushed thru the whole ordeal. Then after returning, he had to go deliver another car to the owner and left us to deal with the manager to buy the car. We agreed on a price but not on a payment and had to wait for financing…
After two days we never heard back from Chuck Cote who is the finance manager. I had to call him to see if I was preapproved. He said yes the car is ready. Some notice! While doing he paperwork, he rushed us thru it and never mentioned an extended warranty and even forgot to collect my down payment. I took delivery of my new used car and it was empty on gas and the nice Weathertech floor mats that were in the car when I signed the deal were missing and some crappy carpeted ones were in there. When I mentioned it to Chuck he said he would look into where they went. Well a week went by and I haven’t heard anything yet. He did call me 5 days after taking delivery to pretty much beg for my down payment after realizing he never collected it, yet my paperwork said I paid it. If I was dishonest I could of said too bad, my papers said I paid it but I gave him the money anyways. Well now they have their money they could care less about me. This has been my worst buying experience yet, and I will never step foot on their lot again. They have an “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau and I can see why.
I have been going to this dealership ever since they took over Gladstone a few years ago. I have always seen mike and he has always treated me as if I was his number one customer. I have an 03 GT that I am very fussy with. I go in at least twice a year for general repairs. This time was a brake job and a convertable top motor needed to be replaced…Price was great as usual, the work excellent and the time to complete cannot be beat! I will continue to do my service here with Mike on this car and the many more I purchase thorughout the years!
after sending pictures and asking for a trade value estimate prior to driving 2 hrs each direction, I was told KBB value would be very close. When I arrived I was told something completely different, the manager made some calls and said it was only worth X amount regardless of KBB numbers, basically they straight up lied to try and get you in the door before bending you over! I walked and all other should be wary of this deceptive dealership:mad: cost me a day between driving to and from and 2 hrs at the dealership. 3500 lower in trade value than the next lowest dealership had given me.
I don’t know why I was told everything was ok. I left the car for no directionals and they got them working but they do not blink, or blink occationaly on the dash board which makes me wonder IF they are blinking.
I also had to have the car buffed out due to a blunder of my own but also since the body shop had painted a new hood for me and installed it on the car. The paint job had dust embedded in the paint in a few spots when they painted it and part of it had not been masked properly. They buffed the car, (there are still some scratches in in) and the “touch up” was not completed properly as well as wax spatter on the car. Nice people, tried hard I guess, just not what I expected based on other comments I read before going there. I won’t use either of their shops in the future. I felt that since there were problems with the paint work they did initialy then I was in hopes, since they had to buff out what they did wrong the first time, that I would not have to pay the $200.00 I was billed, or at least get a break. Anyway, like I said, nice people.
Brought in vehicle for recall. Vehicle ran fine before recall work was done. Vehicle was almost undrivable(massive engine surges and cutouts) after recall completed. I asked that they take the vehicle back and restore it to the condition, and configuration, it was in before they “worked” on it. Response from service manager (oxymoron) was “We can’t help you, the warranty is up”. His dealership cripples my vehicle and thats it. He further acknowledges that the recall work could likely have caused the engine to run so poorly but refuses any remedial action. I just want it put back to the way it was, which was a condition where it ran just fine. He saw no issue with the fact that his department had just rendered my vehicle virtually inoperable. He just couldn’t understand why that would be an issue. At some level I believe that was not due to malevolence on his part but rather an inability to perform thinking requiring any amount of logic or cognitive processing.
Furthermore the work order stated the vehicle had a road test performed. Either that was a lie or the technician who performed it was incompetent. It was virtually undriveable and any technician who passed it should be let go.
Beyond all the “shop-rate” hustles already documented in prior reviews there is a significant competence issue in the service department from top to bottom.
After seeing the Ford Edge at the 2010 Car Show in NYC, I contact two local dealers for a test drive. One dealer never responded after several days… the other was Ford of Londonderrry which responded to my email within an hour! I was impressed, but wait… it gets better! I scheduled a test drive and from the moment I arrived at the dealer, the salesperson was very polite, attentive, professional and knowledgeable about the Edge. The quality of the Edge was impressive, and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured by my salesperson to make a buying decision, which I really appreciated. From the moment I decided to purchase this quality vehicle, everyone, from sales to finance to service – were extremely helpful in making my purchase the best experience I have ever had. After the sale, the follow-up calls only prove that the entire dealership is serious about their commitment to their customers. I can boldly state that I am a proud owner of the 2010 Ford Edge, and the dealership that stands behind this product! Why would anyone go anywhere else?…
Ford of Londonderry has incredible service! The salesmen/women were very patient and kept contact with me the entire time I was looking for a car. They stayed on top of everything wonderfully. They even remembered who I was and exactly what I needed every time I called/e-mailed. One of the best car dealerships I’ve ever been to.
The best sales people around. Well mannered and willing to help you the second you step through the door. Paid very close attention to my needs and tried to get me prices that met my budget while finding a car that was exactly what I was looking for. Extremely low prices on used vehicles that are still in good shape. Definitely buy your cars from these guys.
i whent to perches a truck, i offerd 22k cash and the manager turned his back on me n my wife, didnt even try to work out numbers, how sad i will never or will ever recomend this dealer to anyone in there right mind, attitudes arise in this place, and you get treated like trash, what a disapointment for the town of londonderry,
The prices are unbelievable and the salesmen would never turn around and completely ignore you. Get your facts straight, don’t write reviews out of spite, and learn how to spell.

I had a new water pump installed. this made the belt make a grinding noise. I brought the car back on several occasions. Was then told it was a seperate problem, but the tech really didn’t know and wanted to charge me $60.00 + labor on top of the $500.00 + already paid. I was treated terrible by the sales rep so I emailed the service director and he replied saying “I am truly sorry for any inconvenience or lace of concern and offered to pay for the belt at no cost to me and to make an appoint with his serv coor. I called and she stated she would have the dirctor call me back as she did not want to get in the middle of it. I said in the middle of what. she said the dirctor https://cardealercheck.com/postreview/40611/../../forum//forum/images/smilies/frown.gifwill call me back. He did and was yelling at me and said he was not going to now pay for the belt. He stated that I said the tech was lying. If he stopped yelling and me and listened he would have gotten the story right.
The person that is responsible for all the inconveniences and lack of concern is the service Director. I think his chair is too big for him!!!!!!!
Took the vehicle in for a simple maintenance procedure. After not asked for free multipoint check tech comes back with about 8 line items. I normally maintain my own vehicles so I declined the extra $2000 for the 8 line items which will cost me about $300 and 3 hours of my time. Tech goes off and does maintenance I really wanted. When I get the bill it’s 3 times what I was quoted. Seems the tech decided to do a couple of other things I had previously said no to. I refused to pay, they took it off the bill. Later I checked what I had done and the work was sloppy. They also took their time with finalizing the bill so that they could justify the techs ‘book’ time to perform. They charged for 2 hours labor and I was only there for 1 1/2 and the first half was the ‘free’ check.Note: I had gone over my vehicle the night before and checked the basics like fluid levels, tire pressure, brake wear etc. The tires were pressurized perfect but funny thing is when I got it home ‘after’ the service one of the tires was low enough to cause front end issues. I took the tire to a tire shop and they said it was perfect, except the valve stem was loose and it was of course low on air. Funny how those things happen huh?If you must have your vehicle repaired at a dealer, learn something about autos because in this economy ,especially with the life or death auto situation there is no honor anymore.
I had been corresponding with an internet person, who was very courteous. They gave me the pricing up front, found me the perfect vehicle at the perfect price. I set up an appointment to come in, the vehicle was pulled out front and ready for me. I was greeted with a smile and a great deal of profesionalism. Matt is a very low pressure sales person, with an optimistic attitude. The pricing that was given to via the internet was the same as when I came in. I really appreciated them being upfront and honest and informing me of all of my options. Matt went around the vehicle and pointed out every feature and benefit. He took an extra half hour out of his day to set up my SYNC for me and also set up my first service appt. He was an awesome sales person and I reccommend this dealership to any and every one. I GOT MINE AT FORD OF LONDONDERRY!
:p:p:p:p In anyone has lost faith in Dealers you must try Ford of Londonderry. The prices and staff were the best I have ever had in my 50 years of driving.
I had sent in an e-mail in regards to a Ford Mustang. No sooner did I hit the “Submit” button for my quote, I was being contacted by a representative at Ford of Londonderry. They gave me a price (which I shopped) and it was the best price out there. Everywhere else wanted to negotiate and have me come in. Ford of Londonderry gave me their best price right away.
I came into the dealership and was greated by my Salesman Al Finnegan. He took me for a test drive and went over the vehicle with me to make sure I understood everything. It was raining that day and I did not want to take my Mustang home in the rain, so AL offered to deliver my new vehicle to me on a day that was convenient for me (I live an Hr away from the dealer). Great customer service, no going back and forth, very convenient. Best car buying experience I have had.
Buying my SUV from Ford of Londonderry, NH, was a mistake in my opinion. The salesperson lied to me when I asked him if the SUV had been smoked in before. He was a smoker and claimed that was what I smelled and not the SUV. I believed him and bought the SUV. Fast forward months later and we still haven’t completely got rid of the smell. It still lingers a bit and while I entertained the idea of some kind of legal action I decided that I’d live with it and hope that the smell goes away on its own because I was just exhausted from driving back and forth to Londonderry and didn’t want to deal with them any longer. They did work to get the smell out but I had to drive back and forth from Worcester to their dealership multiple times to get it worked on (cleaned – in addition to the maintenance problems) which drove up the mileage on my odometer and cost me a ton of money in gas and hours and hours of my time. While they supplied a rental car free of charge I had to pay for insurance or use my own. I opted to just use my own coverage. Low and behold the rental car was damaged and I had to buy an approximate $1,500 door. I was told that they’d take care of the gas in the rental cars after my SUV was in the shop a couple of times. But the last time it was in service they charged my credit card for the gas anyway and didn’t refund that money and that was AFTER I had to pay for the rental car door to be fixed. You’d think at that point they’d be bending over backwards to try to save me as a future customer. I wouldn’t have ever had that cost for the rental car door had they sold me a reliable SUV to begin with.
They completely entered my first name wrong in my warranty. They didn’t tell me about any deductible options when I bought my extended warranty so now I have a $100 fee every time I need to get the SUV fixed. And recently I’ve had the SUV to another Ford dealership because the 4×4 solenoid had to be replaced as well as the steering column! On another visit I had told them that the alignment seemed off and they “checked” it and told me it was fine. Maybe it wasn’t the alignment that was off but it was the steering column! I knew there was a problem with the way it the SUV was handling when driven. So I wasn’t falsely bringing the truck in for erroneous and unneeded repairs after all, huh?
And on my warranty they added a note that basically said “WARNING: TRUCK MAY NOT NEED REPAIR IF BROUGHT IN” or something of that nature. I’m assuming that I got this bad remark since they couldn’t find a problem with the alignment that I complained about (was actually a more serious issue but I’m not mechanic.. I just knew the truck wasn’t driving correctly) It seems that they are basically warning other dealerships that I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything wrong but expected what I paid for. It’s not like I bought a shirt that didn’t quite fit right but rather, will spend thousands of hard-earned dollars on an SUV that came with a bad battery (that they did replace after I told them that if they didn’t I would take it to another mechanic for testing), 2 front power windows that were extremely slow until they were worked on, a rank smoke odor that they claimed initially wasn’t there, a 4×4 solenoid, and one of the windows had to be replaced because of a bad popping noise that they had to work on 2 different times.
As an added bonus as part of my buying experience they tried to get me into a very high interest rate loan until I mentioned that I was going to go to my own bank then all the sudden, as I was about to walk out the door, they gave me the rate I wanted because another bank ok’d it at the last minute. I felt like I was living in a car buying nightmare clichĂ©. My credit isn’t perfect but it’s not bad either. It they had the ability to offer me a lower rate they should have done that to begin with because I’d already been playing the “back and forth” game of negotiation between my salesperson and the sales manager at that point and was sick of it.
I personally would never use this dealer again nor would I recommend anyone else use them. Fact was that they sold me an SUV that had some issues and instead of going up and beyond to perhaps lose a couple of dollars, and save me as a customer and prevent any bad reviews, they chose to just treat me badly. Within the bad treatment there were moments when I thought they were being sincere and caring but in the end, my opinion is that they didn’t care.
