Went over today to purchase the car since I had the “internet price” Got over there and they told me
that Rosanna is very confused and the car price was
for 2011 however the email stated “2012”. They then
were offering me a deal on the 2012 for $800 higher then the 2011 plus I would not get any rebates or July 4th $500 sales back.
Total rip-off even when you have it in black and white.
I will assume any good reviews on here are from the sales staff at this desolate and customer-less dealership. They certainly have an abundance of free time on their hands.
These guys follow the old sleezeball tactic of “get the customer in the door before you make them an offer.” They know it is more difficult for the customer to say “no” to an offer in the dealership than over the phone. Thus, Rosanna Batista and Victor Abad, salespersons, dragged me down to the dealership promising to put me in a car that day. I took a bus, train and walked 2 miles, only to be given a horrible offer. Then Rosanna called me and e-mailed me back to harass me and said I had a bad attitude. That’s right, these guys have the free time to respond to the complaints they receive….with INSULTS. Very classy… 😡
I got a car later that day at the Route 46 Automall in Totowa. If you value your hard-earned money, I would stay away from these guys.
This dealership is under new ownership within last 2months now called Nissan of Hawthorne. Went in with my daughter to purchase a new Rogue. There was no high pressure tactics from anyone salesperson to management. We were treated politely, fairly, and in a professional manner, in todays enviorment that is saying a lot. They delivered on what they said, got the vehicle from another dealership in a timely manner, negotiated what I felt was a good fair price for the vehicle and there were no last minite price surprises when the purchase was concluded. There was one little issue with the Finance Manager but ‘Joe’ the General Manager corrected the problem promptly and honestly to my satisfaction.
The people I dealt with ‘ Taq’ our salesman, ‘Andy’ Sales Manager and ‘Joe’ the Gereral Manager made our purchase experience of our new Rogue a pleasure.
In the last 20 years and the purchase of 5 or 6 vehicles I feel this was the best overall experience.
I would highly recommend you give them a try if you are in the market for a Nissan.
How long have you worked for the dealership? Please…
Wow! What a difference new ownership makes! I recently purchased a car from Nissan of Hawthorne and it was great!
The old place was such a dump! The new ownership seems to know that customer service is really the most important thing a dealership can do.
I walked in and immediately noticed the new floors, walls, furniture etc… the place was totally re done. I met my salesman Ray and from day one of the process he was honest forthcoming and accontable for everything he told me. It was so refreshing to have such an up-front honest knowledgeable sales person. I usually hate buying cars… The whole car buying process usually sucks…. to my surprise this went so smoothly and effortlessly it actually was quite enjoyable. They never pressured me or low balled me in any way and the best part was there were no surprises! I actually reccomended them to my cousin who now is in the process of purchasing a car there.
The only time really anyone posts feedback on car dealers its usually negative… I thought for a change people would like to hear about a new car dealer who actually does a great job! Thanks to all the guys at Nissan of Hawthorne!
