Awful experience do not purchase a vehicle from them. When they washed my Murano for me to pick it up they scratched the entire vehicle end to end!!! They paid for an auto body schop to repair but it was so bad they could not remove all of the scratches. Also it was covered in orange spots which Rick Mastria claims all Muranos come over from Japan like that yet no other murano on the lot had orange spots????? and every dealer i have called LAUGHS when i ask them that. The auto body shop determined the spots were overspray my guess is they scratched the vehicle trying to get the spots off. After Jason Ferrera promising to get me a new Murano they decided it was best to just stick me with the scrathed one Adam Hoyt said i had to sign an affidavit claiming i never took possession of the vehice which i wouldnt sign so i was told take your murano and move on!!! they are all scum bags Rick, Adam and Jason. Luckily i knew people buying a car and was able to get 4 people to go to a different nissan dealer and one person who bought a subaru from another dealer. I am still stuck with a car i hate because it looks awful so if i can help others by letting them know stay away from this dealer i will feel better.
We apologize that after all of our efforts to satisfy you, you still feel this way about Mastria. This organization’s top priority is, and will always be, customer satisfaction. I understand that after taking delivery of your vehicle you came back dissatisfied with some scratches or orange spots as you stated. We tried every effort possible to try to satisfy your concern. We had our reconditioning department buff the vehicle, we gave you the option of turn in the vehicle if this meant your satisfaction and lastly, we agreed to take the vehicle to a third party company of your choice as per your request at our expense. When you took the delivery of the vehicle from this third-party you were satisfied until the next day when you called claiming it was still not to your standards. As goodwill, Mastria gave you a guarantee that if anything were to go wrong with the paint we would guarantee it. A month later, we received a letter from your credit card company trying to chargeback the deposit you put down during the purchase of your vehicle. After multiple investigations the credit card company looked at the evidence and our efforts of try to satisfy you and they sided with Mastria.
We are deeply sorry that you still feel this way. But we feel that we have done everything possible to address your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with your new Murano, we are happy to work with you and try to put you into another vehicle as we stated to you and during our response to the credit card company.
You make it seem so cut and dry and and Matria is being so sweet about this but what you leave out is you did promise to put me an another Murano since it was your company that scratched my Murano but the only way you were willing to do that was if i signed an affidavit stating i never took possession of the Murano so that you would have a clean title to sell it as a brand new vehicle which is illegal since i had possession of the Murano for a couple of weeks already while you tried to get the scrathes and over spray off of it. I would love for this delearship to stand by their word and do what they said they would. The charge back with the credit card was not approved because it was used as my down payment and you damaged my car when it was left for a remote start that is why they could not hold the money so please state the facts as they are. Since you stated you are still willing to stand by your word i have the Attorney Generals Office to mediate. I can i have them contact you.
First car I bought was a 08 Cadillac Sts awd. Car seemed fine, I asked if it was in an accendent before I bought and they said no. first problem was head lights kept getting water in it. Was a hassle to get replaced by them? Later found out car was in an accident. Second problem was the gas tank. It would not fill pass half. They wanted me to pay for a replacement gas tank, after I paid 500 dollars to replace all the sensors. Had to complain and called my lawyer for that matter. I was then given a second car by them as an almost even trade. Second car is an Infiniti m35 09. Boston just had its first snow storm. And when I went to clean the snow off the car and wash it. The paint chipped off the bumper. I called and told them what happened, after about 10min on the phone. They told me that the car was in an accident with the first owner and they repainted the bumper. They did not tell me this when I was getting the car.
This dealer ship is a rip off and they do not take care of their customers.
I will never buy another car from them in my life.
Buying a new car can be a pain but dealing with these guys made it easy. My sales person Tony, was very patient which is hard to find now a days. But he took the time to show and explain all of the cars i was interested in. After a little negotiating i was able to drive away in my new Maxima that day!!! Needless to say I recommend Mastria Nissan to anyone looking for a car and I look forward to doing business with them in the future!
When i got to the dealership i wasn’t sure if i wanted a rogue or a juke.I was greeted by Linda who was wonderful she showed me both the rogue and the juke. After driving both i decided on the juke Linda was very patient and low key.
sounds like mastria padding their reviews again.. this is what they do when sales are down.
They must have paid you a lot of money to say this!!!
This Dealership is truly exceptional. Great environment, great people, and i couldn’t have got a better deal! My sales person Sabrina Santiago took care of me and I couldn’t be any happier in my new car!!!
I went to mastria Nissan and it was a wonderful buying experience. I was greeted by a sales person named Adam. He was so nice and knowledgable about the dealer history and the product. I bought that day it was not high pressure and it was a positive happy atmosphere.
sounds very close to the other positive reviews they have had in the last few days.. funny how they are all written very similar. and all within a few days of each other after months of being quiet..hmmm sounds suspect
People have the impression that all dealerships are high pressure, like to haggle alot, and are just scumbags. WRONG! Mastria Nissan proved this stereotype to be absolutely incorrect and thats why I purchased my Armada from them and will continue doing business with them as long as I have a drivers license. Thank you Brian Augusta you were great. If I have a someone interested in a vehicle I will send them directly to you. Thanks again buddy
Awesome service. Would send everyone I know there to buy
A+ for the salesman Adam & finance manager Jay. Driving my dream car 🙂
This dealership exceeded my expectations more then words can describe. No pressure, got the price I was looking for, picked up the car that same day, free tires for life, free double powertrain warranty. John was the best salesman I’ve ever dealt with. All three sales managers Jason, Bruce and DJ were all excellent in getting the most for my trade. Very proffessional and they have surely earned a customer for life. Thanks Mastria
Without a dought the worst dealership “ANYWHERE”. The sales girl or whatever would call her was terrible, rude, and downright pushy. She actually tried to hit on my girlfriend, Sick. the sales manager Jason was a real pompous ass. “stay away” from this place!!!
The Absolutely “WORST Car Buying Experience EVER” … WARNING to anyone considering purchasing a Nissan. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. They lie about the interest rates, the trade-in value, and tack on hidden fees to the back-end of the loan. I’m positively sure they are also generating their own reviews to counter-act their well-deserved HORRIBLE SERVICE.
i’m 100% sure your right. i know they write their own positive reviews. the place is a joke. the owner has no idea what is going on here. they just use his name for these businesses. and they are putting his name in the toilet. dont work there or buy there.. they will screw you
i see all the bad reviews and it doesn’t surprise me one bit. i worked there for a year in the towing dept. they treated me like dirt. the pay scale was illegal and as soon as i started asking about my pay they fired me. two weeks before xmas knowing that i have 2 little ones at home. but thats only have the story. all broken promises, they want you to work for free all the time and wont pay you for the things you do. they are the laughing stock of the towing industry in the area. running the streets and picking up their so called ”precious customers” in junk trucks with a half a million miles on them. the windows dont roll up or down the doors dont open or close right. THE STEERING WHEEL FALLS OFF WHILE YOUR DRIVING.. NO JOKE…i just found out a few days ago that the truck i been driving the whole time i been there wasn’t even registered for 2 years. half the people they hire to tow your car of for AAA have no to very little experience in towing. and will most likely screw up your car. i dont understand a place with so much money is so screwed up. they hired me to fix their aaa problem.. and i did that. within 2 months they started getting bonuses again. because of me. did they appreciate it? no. did i even get a thank you, no. but they did everything i was telling them to do and i got no credit for any of it. after they started getting bonuses again they stopped asking my advice an started treating me like shit… i eventually got hurt on the job their do to their negligence and lack of proper equipment to do the job. i was out for 3 months. i didnt get a single phone call from anyone working there asking simply ”are you ok” or ”do you need anything”. a simple courtesy phone call from someone woulda felt good..instead what i got was written up on my first day back. written up a week later and after a month being back fired. hope they treat their customers better than they treat their employees. but reading all these comments and all the other reviews on other sites apparently they dont..i strongly suggest you stay far far away from this place
We would be remiss if we didn’t respond to the account of this gentleman’s experience as an employee at the Mastria Auto Group. Obviously, like all conflicts there are always two sides to the story and he has made certain he is telling his side. A public forum is not the place to resolve conflicts so we will not indulge in such a discussion on line. Suffice it to say that the Mastria organization has been in business for over 55 years and we pride ourselves on the way we treat both our employees and our customers. With over 170 gainfully employed individuals, we take our employment practices very seriously.
really? i would love to hear your side of the story please tell. really. go ahead. its the perfect place to air it out. or are you afraid that everyone who reads this will know your a fraud. kinda like the reviews on your own facebook pages. you know. the good ones you pluck from dealerrater and put on your pages totally ignoring the bad reviews. cant have your cake and eat it too. ya exactly merry christmas to you too..
oh and by the way we did resolve the conflict behind closed doors.. it was called a court room. and i won that too.. so thank you come again!
The service I received buying my new car last week was amazing. The sales representative I had was more then helpful, he was respectful, knowledgeable, treated me very nicely. The dealership had a very nice atmosphere and no one ever made me feel like I wasn’t important. I would refer all my family and friends to Mastria and ask for Colton.
I purchased this car close to a month ago. And noticed that it needed and alignment. After contacting the sales and service depts. several times for a little over a week having to leave messages (god forbid they answer a call!). Waiting for them to get back to me. I finally was able to bring it in one afternoon to have it fixed. All they did was slap a service number on the rearview mirror and had me sit in the lounge for over and hour and one twirpy little teenager told me it was ”all set”. Leaving that night it was still pulling to the right. Hey here’s an idea, how about you hire certified mechanics and not some geeky little scrawny kid straight out of highschool who knows shit about cars!! Dishonest little shit! Obviously it wasn’t done. Had to bring it back the following week and demanded that it got fixed, as it was grossly disaligned at that point and the VDC off and SLIP warning lights came on. I sat there for 2-1/2 hours!! And when I left it wasn’t as bad but is still pulling to the right. And you know what? The VDC off and SLIP lights came on once again! Thanks Mastria Nissan for a half-ass job! Going back again and this time it had better be fixed as it is still under warranty! Don’t waste your time calling, just bring it in! Or hey take it to a reputable shop!
In my opinion this dealership is unethical.shady and dishonest.
They cost my 80 year old mother 8,000.00 which she worries how she will ever pay back every day of her life.
My son bought a car there a few years ago. The dealer had my Moms license info because she had given it to my son to see if the payments would be less with her as a co-signer. The dealer put my mothers name on the agreement without her consent. She had NEVER spoken to him and had Never stepped foot in the dealership or even known where it was.
A while later she got a phone call congratulating her on her new car. She had no idea what they were taklking about and called the dealership. The dealer told her that he had put her name on the deal to help my son and that he would have her name taken off after my son made a few payments. This of course was untrue as Mastria has no control over the bank and once the papers went to the bank it had nothing to do with Mastria.
The payments for the car were 500 a mnonth and after a few months my son lost his job and the car was repossed. The bank sold the car for 8,000.00 less than the loan and my Mother was responsible because hewr name was still on it.
I spoke to the owner of Mastria many times. He promised he would pay the 8,000.00 and then renigged on it and didn’t pay 1 penny.
My son was 17 at the time and had had his job for 1 week before they gave him this loan
My name is Cathi-Anne Martin. I have told alot of people this story and will continue to because I don/t want anyone to buy a car from them. Thank goodnesas for the internet and facebook I can tell even more peoiple
i have been purchased my last 4 vehicles from mastria, i cant say enough praises for the way i have been treated, by the manager and many sales personel from mastria and bill mcnerny and bruce are absulatley the best.. i wouldnt even consider another dealership to deal with, rose solari:)
my sincere apologies, they are 5 not a 3… actually a 10 but the score doesnt go that far, rose
I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle with Mastria….They were professional, honest and quick to respond to all of my needs….I worked with Bill O’Neil, Craig Gravem and Dell Roderick. They worked great together as a team and got me into my car and on the road in a timely manner. I have also had my service calls done there and the service team has always been a pleasure to work with also!
One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dealership. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to buy a car. I realize that car dealerships are sleazy and they try screw you over, but this one tops them all.
I was looking to buy a car so I performed a search on the internet and requested a quote. I then receive an email from Mastria saying they will sell me the car I am looking for. I call Mastria and agree on a price and they request that I come down to the dealership to put down a deposit. Here is where the lies start. After we have agreed on a price, Mastria decides to tell they do not have that vehicle in stock so he needs to “locate” one, but it shouldn’t take long. Worst case scenario would be that they order it.
For over a week, I placed several calls into Mastria to find out if they could locate the car and had very few calls returned. At this point, it was very obvious that they were not going to be able to locate the car so I requested that they order it or give me my deposit back so I could move on. Mastria now tells me that they will order the car, but they have to wait until the first week of the month to order it. They had to wait because it was Nissan’s policy that they could only order cars in the first week of the month (this turns out be another lie). I call back during the first week of the month and no one returns my call and finally get someone after the first week of the month. Mastria tells me they had not ordered the car as promised as they are still hoping to locate one. At this point I am still under the impression that cars can only ordered the first week of the month and think that the window to order the car has passed so I ask speak with a manager. I speak with a manager and he tells me that they will order the car for me and what I was told about ordering cars the first week of the month is untrue (the first truth someone told me at Mastria). At this point I further request that the manager send me something confirming the order took place which he does send me. He also tells me that the car has been assigned to me (has my name associated to it). My name being tagged to the car appears to be true by looking at the order confirmation he sent me. They told me the car would be in sometime in mid-December. Now 3 months after I gave them a down payment, it is mid-December and I attempt to call several times, with no return call, to get a status on the vehicle. I finally get in touch with someone who tells me the car will be in on January 7th, plus or minus 3 days. They continue to volunteer the information that the car has my name associated with it so everything looks good and I am in good shape. 3 days before Jan 7, I place a call into Mastria asking if we are still on schedule and I am assured that we are. “The car will be here soon”. On January 7th, I receive a call telling me the car came in yesterday but was sold to someone else “by accident”. I ask them to get the car back from that other person, but they say the other person paid cash and it was already driven off the lot on the same day. I am not an expert at buying cars, but I am assuming you need to provide a cashier’s check and also get plates for the car before driving it off the lot, so to have a transaction like this occur in the same day a car gets delivered to a lot is not possible in my opinion. Regardless, the fact that they sold the car that they had ordered for me is unacceptable.
My guess….someone else came in during the 4 months it took me to get this car and outbid me so they decided to screw me over. If this is how you would expect to be treated…than this is the place for you. My suggestion, get a quote from these guys then bring it to another dealer to have them match or beat it.
Their excuse for selling my car? First it started with my name was not attached to the car. Well I know that was a lie, because they showed me paper work where it was. Next lie was that the sales person I worked with was not longer with the company. That was a lie too, because when I asked what my sales persons name was they had the wrong name. The last (and probably their “go to lie”) there was a computer problem.
Once again, I realize that being screwed over is part of the car buying experience, I just didn’t expect to be screwed over this bad. Go somewhere else if you have a chance these guys are major liars.
If anyone wants anyone information about my experience with Mastria, please email me @ [email protected]. The lies and deception go deeper than what I had time to write here and I will gladly share my story with you. My goal is not to receive any retribution from Mastria. My hope is that if I can change 1 persons mind about buying a car from them, I will be happy.
Dear Buy From Someone Else:
I have been purchasing all of my vehicles from Mastria since I got my license as a teenager, after shopping at several different dealerships. 20+ years later, I would still highly recommend Mastria! They have been nothing but friendly, quick to respond, go above and beyond to satisfy their customers needs, they are very professional and just an overall great place to purchase a vehicle! I have referred several friends, coworkers and family to which have all received a great experience with them as well. And by the way, I have worked with Craig Gravem, you are not even close with your review, My guess is either you were at the wrong dealership and mistakened them with someone else or you just have nothing better to do with your time. If I had to make a judgement call on this review, I would say, it’s you that is “sleazy”. I will continue to purchase from Mastria going forward, and I take pride in knowing that no matter which saleperson I deal with, It will always be a great experience! 🙂 Signed, Will Always Puchase From MASTRIA!! Keep up the great work Mastria!
PS…Customers like this can never be satisfied no matter where they go!
Dear Concerned Customer,
My name is Ruddy Brito and I’m the Business Development
Director for the Mastria Automotive Group. I’d like to address some of your
concerns. I also appreciate you sharing your thoughts and concerns with
everyone. This forum also allows everyone to make some clarification. The
bottom line is that we obviously failed to meet your expectations and neglected
to satisfy your vehicle needs. I’m pretty well aware of your situation;
although nothing in our end can ever justified when we have not satisfied a
customer. When it came to your situation it was like the perfect storm. Because
of your experience we did regroup and put some processes in place so this
doesn’t happen again.
You placed an ordered on a factory vehicle. At that
particular time the sales consultant that helped you was employed by our
Mastria Nissan dealership. At the same time we were on a different computer
system. A few months later, it’s very unfortunate that when your vehicle came
in, not only was the sales consultant no longer employed by our organization,
but we were in the middle of converting our data from the old computer system
to a new one. The vehicle came in no different than any other vehicle. When it
arrived at our service department for the pre-delivery inspection, the vehicle
never showed in the system as being sold. Of course, the sales consultant would
typically be checking the status for arrival and he was not here to do so. I’m
aware our Chief Operating Officer tried contacting you as soon as we learned
what happened, to apologize and to do whatever it was within our power to satisfy
you. I understand you were too upset to
even to talk to him, and rightly so. I don’t want to sound like we are making excuses,
because we’re not. However, I’d just
like to set the record straight. That doesn’t
change the fact that we unfortunately failed to meet your needs and expectations.
I’d like to let you and everyone who reads this blog that we
are not in the business to piss people off. We definitely wouldn’t be in
business if every customer experience was like yours. We have been in business for over 50 years and
what makes us stand tall has been our customers. The loyal Mastria customers
that come back to us each time for sales and for service as well as the many
letters and surveys telling us how they love to do business with us. I’m deeply
sorry that you were not able to experience the same level of satisfaction and I
hope that this experience won’t prevent you or any other customers from giving
us the opportunity. I can honestly tell you that since I have been here, I have
never had a customer experience what you did. I truly do wish you and your
family the best and hope that one day you will consider giving us another
opportunity. We strive to satisfy our guests and customers 100% of the time.
That’s what brought Mastria to where we are today. Please feel free to contact
me directly if you have any other questions.
Thank you so much for your time.
Respectfully,
Ruddy Brito
I agree 110%. This co is unethical and dishonest!!
overall, great experience! I deal with Ruddy and then with Linda.:)
