I would not recommend anyone to use Bickford for purchasing a vehicle. If you go to there web site, you can pull up any vehicle buy the stock number, example stock number 11-1003, http://www.bickford.net/new/Ford/2011-Ford-F-150-Seattle-Snohomish-4f2483400a0d064901c9313be1c9032d.htm#. You will see a list price and a sale price. When I contacted the sales person using the web link they returned a call to me late the next day and said, this vehicle would only be available at this price the day we spoke. I only had hours supposable to come in and get this vehicle. I would recommend buyer’s try Ford of Kirkland , you will be happy with the results!! Ford of Kirkland 425-821-6611.
I would not recommend anyone to use Bickford service. I had my truck repaired 2 times to repair cracked heads. Neither time while the engine was apart did Dan Valentine mention the technical service bulletin regarding the high pressure oil pump connector. I could have installed a $58.00 kit at that time, but now I have a $3400.00 bill because when the connector fails it will sometimes break a plate at the back of the engine and that requires the removal of the transmission to replace the plate. When I asked Dan about the service bulletin, he said they did not work on the actual oil pump, so it wasn’t his problem. He also said he would no longer work on my vehicle and refered me to another dealer. I guess I ask to many questions! He was very short and rude in our conversation. I then talked to Kevin jameson and got the same attitude! He said he didn’t like the way I questioned his shops ability to repair my truck when I was talking to Ford Motor Co about some financial assistance with the 2nd repair they did out of warranty.Only 30,000 miles since they fixed the first cracked head. Now 6,000 miles later, I have another large problem. Wouldn’t you ask some questions too? I then asked him why I was NOT told about the service bulletin and he said they don’t have time to inform customers about all the service bulletins and I should have looked it up on the internet! I couldn’t believe this comment was coming from a service manager. Nice job Kevin! What a way to treat a customer!! After being treated like dirt from the 2 top service managers at Bickford Ford I called Ford of Kirkland to help me out. What a pleasant surprise! These guys are fantastic!! Dean Webster my service consultant, immediately put together pricing so I could contact Ford Motor Co. for some financial help on this bill. The next morning the Service Manager Tom Olson called me to let me know he was in contact with Ford and was using every angle to get money from Ford on my behalf. Tom worked his magic and got the claim settle and most of the bill paid. Now thats customer service! These guys are Great! I think Bickford Ford should hold their employee customer service training seminars at Ford of Kirkland! Give Ford of Kirkland a shot, you will be happy with the results!!
