this is the worst place anyone can go to buy or even for service. overtime i went there for a service, i always came back home with a newer problem with the car which they denied the responsibility. this time i had to write a review because when i left the place i was almost in tears. i called and got a price before i dropped it to the service, at the time of picking it up, they raised the price and said they don’t remember talking to me about the price before i left it there. then right after i picked up the car, the entire way my coolest leaked and when i called the dealership they didn’t even seem concerned and said if the car isn’t giving a sign then its not that dangerous. since they weren’t doing anything, i had to call a tow truck to take it back to the dealership missing my work that day. when i took it there they didn’t seem they were sorry about anything and said the mechanic probably didn’t this it would b that big of a deal and left it like that. i was shocked. then when i took the car back home, i noticed a problem. it was shaking whenever i stop the par and have my foot on the break. i figutred it had something to do with the initial problem i was there for. so i took the car back to the dealer and the service agent drove it and said he didn’t notice any problem, lucky the mechanic that worked on the car before was there and i requested him to drive it and he noticed the problem. they told me they won’t be able to look into the problem today because they were busy so told me to come another day. i dropped the car there again another day, they called me and said it will be another 1000 to fix a problem which they created, which wasn’t there before i left the car there. when i asked him y that problem started right after i left the car there and now this surprise amount i have to pay extra to fix it, his answer was, its a german car, anything can happen, not our responsibility. so i went to pick up the car without fixing anything. we initially had 1 problem with the war which was our car lock wasn’t working when we want to close with the key so we always manually closed the door. so before picking the car up, we told the service adviser to let me know how much it would be if we were to fix the auto lock with the key.he told us 1000 and we said we won’t fix it now, maybe another time. when i went to pick up the car, they broke my lock and now i couldn’t even manually close the lock. i went back the next day to complain and to tell them to give me back my car the way it was and they insulted me and treated me so bad infant of all the customers that i was in tears, being so rude saying they will not fix it because as they said ” it was already broken”. i told the guy how will i park the car outside now that we can’t even manually close the door. and the guy being so rude just walked away. i will surely take more actions for what they have done to my car n to us.
I made it crystel clear to the salesman that I wanted to trade in my 535 BMW for the 2012 model and keep all the features of my current car. When my new car arrived I was happy. However I neglected to notice that the typical button under the mirror which opens my garage door had been omitted! I did not notice this until I arrived home. I promptly returned to the dealership and was told that the feature was now an “extra”. I sincerely believe that the “omission” of that feature was purposefuly conceled, for price convenience. So before anyone buys from BMW of Bayside be AWARE!
Took the 2006 325i with less than 20K miles and running perfectly in for routine maintenance. Within minutes of driving it……the engine was on Fire!!
Neither BMW or the Dealership would take responsibility. Not even an apology for the frightening experience. Instead “that’s what insurance is for” they said and wanted me to Keep Quiet about it. Sylvia Villaverde, “customer relations” would not get involved. Fred Gang, owner of Bayside dealership & service Refused to even acknowledge the events and what they might suggest. Not even to look into his shop & work procedures to ensure that you are Not the next victim and maybe not fortunate enough to get out in time. Not the lease bit concerned even if there’s the slightest possibility that they’re at fault. Just business as usual with them. Well, now you’re aware. Are you going to continue to misjudge this brand, like I did?. Things happen?. Yes, but Ethical, Honest Business people Step Up & accept responsibility Even when it can’t be proven!. It was their Product and Their Work, wasn’t it?. Run from BMW Bayside, rated 2/5 on service (before this) & from BMW with their class-action suits against them. (Now that all makes sense) I wish I had!!. Value your life???
