We were directed to Midway Nissan in Arizona from another Nissan dealership. This was the closest dealership location to have the specific car and options that we wanted. They knew this dealership’s inventory had the car of our dreams. The sales representative warned me about this dealership’s past willingness to do business with other referred customers but I was confident we could reach an agreement.Their sales representative’s written statements about prices were changed when they knew we wanted the car, prices quoted were not upheld, and deals promised regarding gift cards were taken back. This made me wonder what we could believe and trust with this sales representative. I brought this to the representatives attention, Ms. Mayorga, and referred to her statement “earn my business”, “respond to me and receive a $50 gift car, “$43,670”. I received a typical response of sorry it wasn’t part of how they do business there and an excuse because I do not live in Arizona. I was in fact communicating through internet sales which communicates with people all over the United States. I then received a message from her manager, Ms. Lopez, who was the most incompetent and unfriendly customer representative I could imagine. She threatened me saying I was not to use any internet communications or she would have them erased. I am really sad that I will not be able to purchase the car I was looking to buy. But, the the exceptionally poor customer service and the dishonesty, makes it impossible to trust anything they say. I should have listened to my local dealer when they warned me about this specific dealership in the first place. I hope by bringing this situation to everyone’s attention, I will prevent this from happening to other customers.
