:mad:Took it in for a water leak at intake manafold. service tech looked at it and confirmed. had gasket replaced. brought it back about a week later with the same leak. same service tech.. In a bold voice, Iguarrentee that is a different leak. went to service manager. didnt even have time to ask anything before I was told in a gruff voice. You said you wanted a new gasket and that is what we did were not fixing it. asked several times to see a GM. Did get to the new car manager who told me he was sory but he had no say about the service department. took it to another repair place. They replaced a cracked manifold (right where the origional leak and the leak was when I took it back in) with a new one for two hundred dollars less than Mike brown charged me to replace the old one with a crack in it.They also flushed out all the green antifreeze and replaced it with orange like it had when it went in for the first repair. How can anyone claiming to be a tech or mechanic make that mistake.. I dont get it.. The radiator cap is even ORANGE.
I work on engines (mostly diesel) every day and know there is no excuse for missing a crack that big. There is no excuse for not telling the truth about it and there is absolutely no excuse for the manager to treat a customer that way without ever asking one single question to the customer and finally a customer should always be able to take a dispute to a GM or even the owner if he asks to see one.
If granbury were still a small town they wouldnt get away with this treatment of a customer.
Not dumb just cant get spell check to work..:o
