Me and my fiance were both looking to purchase vehicles, now, we have bad credit, so we know it can be an issue, but King Richard’s HEAVILY advertised GUARANTEED Financing on several modestly priced vehicles that we could afford. Upon arrival at the dealership, they flat out told me, “We can’t finance YOU”. With my fiance, they told her essentially, “We can’t finance you for the $8000 car you can afford, but we CAN finance you for the $16,000 car that you can’t possibly afford the payments on”. When asked about the criteria for a “financeable car”, they told me, 2001 or newer, with less than 80,000 miles…. so when I picked out a car on their lot that met this criteria (2003, with 43,000 miles) that only cost $7995, they again said, THAT car wouldn’t qualify…. Then, after all is said and done, turns out they can’t finance her at all either without a cosigner. So, they lured us in with their FALSE ADVERTISING of “GUARANTEED Financing” on SPECIFIC vehicles, then after pulling our credit, and driving our credit score even lower due to the inquiries, turns out they won’t finance us without a cosigner… well duh, I could go to any dealer and get financed with a good cosigner. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD… I intend to file a complaint with the state regarding their deceptive and fraudulent advertising. I don’t have a problem being turned down because my credit sucks…. Just don’t lie to me with false promises of GUARANTEED financing, when you can’t deliver on that promise.
