gave a $500 deposit while working on a deal, specifically asked two people if i will get it back if the deal doesnt happen. i was told yes, but at the end all i got was store credit towards new car! scammers! buyer beware!
A month ago I would have given this place a perfect 5 star review. It seems when you’re looking to get a car, 86th street chevy wants to ensure you’re taken care of. To be honest, they were the best dealership I ever went to. Of course this is until I left the lot in my brand new car. Once the deal is closed, you’re dead to these people. Shortly after buying my brand new car, I started having severe issues with it. By severe I mean the car wouldn’t unlock, lock or start which cost me my job. Yes, this isn’t technically the dealers fault, but when I kept calling to get this fixed ASAP, or to understand what the heck was going on, they didn’t care. They brushed me off and said stuff like, “oh it must be the battery”. Dead battery? On a car with 1,000 miles on it? Well, it wasn’t the battery. It seemed they only began to care about my issues when I called GM Headquarters and made a complaint. Of course now they want to help and obviously it’s too late. They claim nothing is wrong with the car and they lost two more sales. Take this review however you’d like, I just want car shoppers to know my experience. Going back to VW as soon as possible, nuff said.
