I went in for preventative maintenance for my 2002 well-maintained Volkswagen Cabrio, spent $1400 and have had nothing but problems ever since. Karen Radley replaced my timing belt and replaced my entire exhaust system. In fact I currently have two difference service guys contradicting each other about a horrible rattling underneath my car and my car is running worse than before the preventative maintenance. One states it’s my heat shield while the other states I have an exhaust leak. How can that be? They replaced the entire exhaust system. Did they damage my car? Did they just miss the leak the first time due to incompetence? Who knows at this point. I lost and ran over a plastics shield that fell off a week after service. I had to turn around, pick it up off a busy road and drive back to Karen Radley to replace. Karen Radley is doing nothing to make amends for all my time and troubles; I even had to pay for a rental car twice because I have two small children and cannot be expected to sit for 8 hours while they “fix” my car again and again and again. I had the work done in March and have been back three times to get it right. I now have a complaint in with Volkswagen and have found another mechanic to not only fix the problem but to figure out just what Karen Radley did to my car. Go elsewhere. Even their part prices are 15% higher than other dealerships in the area.
