Karl was very courteous, friendly and genuinely warm. He explained everything, was honest and so very patient with me and most of all, helped ease my stress, confusion and fears. In the past, I had never leased a vehicle, nor ever sought a new vehicle; so the process and information being fed to me was overwhelming. Mr. Witt realized this, took me through everything slowly, and took time to be sure I understood everything.
I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Witt and Joyce Buick GMC. I have extensive experience in customer service and value those who share my high standards. This dealership seems built on the same ethics and values on which I was raised. They feel like family, and have found a repeat customer and friend in me.
Purchased a 2007 GMC Envoy in August 2011. The day I was there purchasing the vehicle I was told that the vehicle I purchased was a Great choice because with that vehicle it had NEW TIRES and NEW BRAKES so it could be GM Certified. I was not told that the brakes were at 50% level.(Which is the minimum) I did not receive a printout of the check points and ratings in order for this vehicle to be GM certified.
I took the vehicle in to have a few cosmetic items fixed at my cost. I also found out that there was a nail in the tire and had that repaired. Once I left the dealership he realized that the tire light was still on, on the dashboard. I contacted Joyce Buick/GMC and I was told that it was a simple reset and it would take 2 minutes to reset the sensor. I asked if I could take this vehicle to any GM Dealer because I didn’t want to waste more time driving all the way back out to Joyce Buick/GMC. They said sure any dealer will reset the tire sensor for you.
I than took the vehicle to the North Olmsted dealer. Once the vehicle was ready for pick up the mechanic or service manager notified me that the brakes will need to be replaced SOON. He noticed that the vehicle was new because of the temp tag. We didn’t ask his opinion but he felt the need to inform us of the condition of the brakes they were obviously noticable.
I continued to contact the dealer several times. Talking to the Salesman, Sales Manager and took it to the Owner that said they would look into this and come up with a suitable solution. Approximately 2 more weeks had gone by and after leaving another voice mail I receive a call back from the salesman James saying that “Ok when the vehicle does need brakes he will only charge us the sale price which was about 99.00 but he was not positive” I talked to him and asked if he could send us an email stating that just in case he is no longer at the dealer so we do not have any problems in the future. I finally (almost 2months from purchase date) recieved a letter in the mail stating that I would recieve Front brake pad replacements at 99.00.This has shown nothing but disrespect for myself. This is not a way to conduct business; the object is to make the customer feel special and important. I did spend over 18,000.00 on a vehicle. I am is very pleased with the vehicle except the fact that I feel I have been lied to and disrespected as a customer.
