BEWARE—RIZZA PORSCHE IN ORLAND PARK, IL
FAILED TO DELIVER AS PROMISED!
An otherwise recommendable experience went bad when the Sales Manager of Rizza Porsche, Aaron Zielinski, and salesman, Paul Amato, did not complete their end of our contract and stopped all correspondence with us. We purchased a previously-owned Lexus from Rizza Porsche but it was lacking the spare key and both the Owner’s Manual and Navigation System Manual. The manuals are essential to figuring out the complicated Lexus systems, especially the navigation system. We were assured at the time of purchase that they would locate the items from the previous owner and mail them to us. We have evidence in the form of several emails from both Paul and Aaron that the former owner has the items and that they would forward them to us as soon as they received them. We never got them. We waited a polite amount of time—2-3 weeks—and emailed Aaron and Paul again regarding the status of the items. We would immediately receive an email in return stating that they would get right on it, that the former owner was out of town, busy, etc. It has been over two months now. When we last emailed them, we received no response at all. We emailed both of them again and, again, no response—complete stonewall. Apparently, they have our money so Rizza Porsche no longer chooses to complete their contractual obligations. The items purchased new would be hundreds of dollars but worthy of only a Small Claims Court suit. Since we live out-of-state, it is our supposition that Rizza Porsche is betting that we will just go away so they are now choosing to ignore us. Caveat emptor. We do not recommend Rizza Porsche. The performance of Aaron Zielinski and Paul Amato is unacceptable, unethical and unprofessional. Again, avoid Rizza Porsche in Orland Park, Illinois, or at least be aware of the caliber of people that you will be dealing with, i.e., watch your back!
I was DENIED service with my EXTENDED WARRENTY!! I have a F-350 Truck that I’ve had for years. I take care of my truck because I know it takes care of me. But now, with ONLY 115,000 miles of a 200,000 Mile Extended Warrenty, Rizza Ford is CLAIMING NO RESPONSIBILITY for repairs! They are CLAIMING I didn’t take care of my vehicle. DO NOT TRUST RIZZA FORD! Do not purchase a warrenty from them it is USELESS!!
I purchased in cash a 2001 Ford Expedition from Rizza Ford on July 2, 2009 in addition to a $960.00 service contract (that was worthless). This truck broke down on me and my family on July 3, 2009 in Memphis, TN on the way to Mississippi. The salesman was made aware of this and assured this vehicle would make the trip. My 65 yr. old uncle was in the vehicle and the 95 degree temperature was harder on him. I contacted the dealership and was told to take the vehicle to the nearest ford dealership. Not familiar with the area we did not know where the nearest dealership was located. I attempted to get road side service that was offered by the service contract and was informed that I was not in the system although I was told by the finance director the contract would be in effect immediately (not true). The whole experience a disatrous and traumatic. We did get the vehicle to a ford dealership. To make long short we were stranded and had to make a difficult decision to get to our destination because there were not any rental cars because of the 4th of July weekend. We made the trip to say the least. We we returned to the joliet area I started the process to get the vehicle repaired. I had a time getting the service contract enforced due to the dealership nonchalant attitude about my situation. When it was also said and done the service contract that I purchased did not cover the transmission replacement citing a pre-existing condition. I had an attorney to attempt to get reimbursement for my replacement expenses without any response. I reported them to the Attorney General’s office. My next course of action with be the BBB and a civil suit. Buyers be very cautious of this dealership because their professionlism towards me was poor. Maybe because selling new cars are their first priority. I will not ever buy another vehicle of any kind from them and will not recommend anyone to them. Regina
Liz (Internet Sales) and Isaias (Showroom Sales) were the best sales team I have EVER encountered in my 30 years of driving. Both were professional and reserved, neither pushy or overbearing, qualities attractive to this profession and outside the norm. Their deamenor made me feel in control of the sale, exactly the way the buyer should feel.
I was impressed by their intergrity, honor and commitment to my sale.
I will be back to Joe Rizza soon. We are looking at replacing our van and I want a FORD. THX so much guys! You have a customer for life.
