I went to this dealership because I saw a Vehicle that fit my needs for 9500.00. I called and asked if they had it, was told yes come on in. When I arrived, they brought a newer model up for me to test drive. I loved the car but told I needed to finance it. I was told over and over again that I was approved. I drove there three times ( 45 minutes away) and on the third time was told the bank wouldn’t approve me for that car but they would for this other vehicle and led me to an HHR. I dislike HHR’s and said as much. I kept getting pushed into getting this vehicle. After talking to my parents i had him see if I could get into a lease. after telling me no, he finally called and said he got me into a Cruze. I was leary and asked what the payment would be. He said well its more than you wanted to pay, I didn’t want to pay more than 250.00, it was 325.00 a month. He went on to tell me that he knew I would be getting a big check soon (my taxes) and that I could use that for the payments. First of all I don’t need a salesman to help me plan what to do with my tax return money, nor do I need one to push me into something I can’t afford.
I purchased my car from Jay, I hadnt had the car for 1 day & when they re-keyed my locks it wouldnt start my car. After talking to my salesperson, I was witout a car the 1st day and I work out of town. After discussing the situation with him,he decided my car wasnt going to be ready so they would give me a loaner car.I asked for all the hassle & finding a ride in a snow storm & driving to the dealership which is 45 mins from my house if I could get a keyless entry remote. The salesman agreed I was happy, got my car back @ the end of day 2.Needless to no that when they rekeyed my car locks they didnt do my truck, so the keyless entry remote that I was told I would get I didnt get for my troubles & my key doesnt work for the truck,I tried to call the salesman back he wont return my calls. I dont know what else to do.. Please help me…
I found a used 2000 ford ranger for sale via the internet. I was looking for a small truck for my husband to use to get to the military base every month as he is a reservist. This truck was in our price range. We have had the truck a little over a month and have not even made the first payment on it yet. and in this past week both tail pipes have completely broken off. So when i called the dealership today i was basically told its not our problem you bought it as is. While i understand that as is means as is. after taking it to our mechanic today. we were also told it has severe oil leakage and the breaks only have about 10 to 15 % left on them. Now if we would have been aware of these issues before hand do you really think we would have purchased the truck?! I think not. My husband just returned home from a 10 month deployment to Afghanistan in June, and this is the thanks he gets??!! Never ever again.
When I went to purchase my new vehicle the showroom was very busy and my salesman had several customers he was helping at one time. What I found impressive is that I still always felt like his only customer as he was so attentive. I was very happy with my entire experience at Jay Chevrolet!
Was looking for a commuter car to save on gas and found a Honda Accord that fit my requirements. The salesmen were friendly and helpful but claimed the car was free of any mechanical defects as their mechanic had cleared it. Before purchasing I took the car to a friend of mine who is a mechanic to double check and found out the car had many issues and would cost 3-4 grand to fix which considering I was spending 7,000 on it put it way out of my price range. Overall I left with a negative impression and consider them a very dishonest dealership.
