Autopark Honda put in a new air conditioner including compressor, dryer, and expansion valve in August 2010. I was living in Georgia at the time but here in NC to visit my parents. The AC stopped blowing cold air one month later in September 2010. I returned in November and took the car back because they said it had a 12 month warranty on parts and service.
Long story short, they said I had exceeded the warranty because I somehow drove 17,000 miles while I was sitting in one place working in Georgia. Apparently there was also a 12,000 mile limit on the warranty. I told them in no uncertain terms that this was impossible. First they accused me of lying to them and then the fun began, they called my parents to let them know i had somehow put on 17,000 they were not aware of. I am not 12 years old (23 actually)and I do own the car outright.
After returning home I found paperwork showing that they misread the odometer when they put in the new AC. Of course they wanted to have CJ apologize with his boss standing there on the phone with me but I told them that this was too little too late and they should think twice before accusing a customer of lying and believe that it might have been there employees mistake all along. Needless to say, I hope no other young adult has to be put through this after reading this review. Go anywhere else where they treat all people with respect, NOT Autopark Honda.
Was given an internet price and set an appointment to drive a Honda CRV
When I got there I was told I would have to wait that Laura the internet person was not at the dealer. The salesman Paul was very nice and helpful. I brought an offer from another dealer. They didn’t have the color I wanted so I asked them to locate one. He sent this to the sales manager. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT MATCH THE OTHER Dealer’s OFFER BUT THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD ONLY HONOR AUTOPARKS QUOTE IF I BOUGHT FROM IN STOCK and $200 for a locate. Why this got the presidents award is beyond me.
