My Acura MDX was towed into Hopkins because I lost all power on Hwy 101during an afternoon rush hour. *The car was “supposedly” repaired but I again
experienced exactly the same problem two months later during an evening
commute, this time with my wife in the car. *The potential dangers to not only
us but to everyone around us, for the problem to occur a second time when it
should never have happened a first, and the totally nonchalant manner in which
the matter was addressed was only compounded by the service tech’s, Rosie’s,
complete disregard for the gravity of the situation and her total distortion of the
facts regarding the situation as they unfolded. *She proceeded to play games
regarding the availability of a loaner which I had been promised by another
service tech, Terry, just two days prior, on a Saturday. *When the problems
were reported to the Service Manager, Tom Russell, he seemed amused, made
some totally inappropriate joke and pretty much excused, if not totally condoned,
Rosie’s performance. *I’m not preaching to any of you but if you own an Acura
and it’s in need of service I hope and pray that you have a better experience than
my family and I have…and I will hope for you that Rosie and Tom Russell are
both on vacation when your need for service arrives. *As for us, we’re going to
run the opposite direction as fast as possible!
