Really enjoy working with Patti. She is a great value to your dealership and a great help to the customers. Thanks again to patti and everyone at Mike Pruitt Honda for all their help.
Who would’ve guessed that we’d be buying a car we’d only looked at for less than 48 hours! We didn’t think we’d even FIND a qualified vehicle so soon, but with Tim’s help, my boyfriend and I are now the proud owners of a Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Thanks again for working so hard us.
This by far has been the best new car experience I have ever had. I contacted Patti via e-mail and she got back to me quickly, answered all my questions promptly and made this process very easy. Patti is a pleasure to talk to and she is very professional and courteous. What a pleasure! I would be more than happy to recommend Patti and Mike Pruitt Honda to anyone!
Even though my situation was a little more involved due to some credit issues, I was not treated like a second class citizen. I am a loyal customer of Honda and Mike Pruitt. This is the 5th car I have leased at this dealership. The dealership and the Honda company acknowledged this and made sure I was able to get the car I wanted and pay the price I wanted to pay.
I always feel good about going to Mike Pruitt Honda. Your salesmen are very professional and give great service. I very often recommend your dealership to my friends and family. Thanks for everything!!

Kathy is the best. She knows me by name and always gives me top assistance. Her honesty is a breathe of fresh air in todays world. I recommend Mike Pruitt Honda to all my friend. Several friends who do not own Honda’s, now service them with Mike Pruitt.
Craig Moreland was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. I was worried about certain issues with my car, but the service department took care of them without “taking me to the cleaners”. This is the second car my wife and I have brought to M.P. for service. Overall, we’ve been very satisfied with the work.
I love their service. Brian is always courteous.
I got my car back earlier than expected.
Kathy was waiting for me when I arrived and is always top notch. I have been bringing my 2001 Odyssey there for service since I bought it new in August of 2001. I have had 90% good experiences and ALL good since you moved to the newest location!
I called about 10 minutes before arriving to see if they could do an oil change and replace a burned out headlight. They got me in and out in less than an hour – with no previous appointment!
very friendly, courteous, and thorough throughtout entire purchase experience.
The staff at Mike Pruitt Honda are very friendly and courteous. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door which is a plus in my book. My vehicle was ready to go in no time at all and in less time then estimated. Kathy was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. I would recommend Mike Pruitt Honda to all my friends and family with confidence that they will be well taken care of.
My experience at Mike Pruitt Honda was great. The employees were very welcoming they called me by name which made me very comfortable. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time and was taken care of without delay. My van was ready in less time than anticipated. I would definitely recommend this service department to my friends and family and will be returning for all my repairs.
Stellar dealership, I purchased a $30,000 car from out of state because the local dealers would not budge off MSRP. The 8 hour 500 mile trip, (one way), was worth the time. We planned a long weekend family getaway around this purchase and spent some time in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. No hassles at Pruitt’s or any pressure to buy add-ons like rust proofing, extended warrantee, etc. In and out in well under an hour. I’ll be buying my next Honda from these guys.
Just bought a vehicle from MP after finding what I was looking for on the Internet. The vehicle was listed as a certified Honda automobile. This would mean that is has gone through a stringent check and qualifies for additional warranties. When going through the final numbers there was a an additional $570 listed for certification. I questioned this to the salesman and his answer was that this is to have the car certified and put into our name with Honda. When I pressed him on this he said that he would split the cost with us. At that point I held my ground and told them that was deceptive and I have bought certified cars in the past and there was no fee for putting my name on it with Honda. I would have completely walked, but the auto I was buying was popular and there was not another one like it in 150 miles of Akron. The end result was that they backed off and waived the certification “fee” and I bought the car for what they were asking. if you do plan on buying from them I would say fair warning and buyer beware.
I wanted to post this as a separate review because the responses are not easily viewed.
I was the person who wrote the “Shady Dealership” review of Mike Pruitt Honda. Later the day of the initial review I contacted the salesperson and the working manager and insisted that they be held to their quote. Both said they couldn’t and refer me to the General Manager.
Dave Kinion called me on Monday and made a very fair effort to compensate the difference by substantially increasing our trade-in value. He also heavily discounted our accessories unbeknownst to us and notified the finance department to go bare bones on anything else we added because of our initial experience.
It wasn’t without a bit of grief but we will consider Mike Pruitt Honda again next time. They made good on a mistake in our opinion and should be considered when buying a Honda.

Classic bait and switchers. Worked with Markus Morris and Patti in internet marketing. Received a quote which got us in the door to test drive and ultimately agree to buy. They brought up the quote finallized the sale and welcoming us to the Honda family and then came back with paperwork $1500 higher than what they quoted. Markus said we should have known that the price he quoted was too high because it was lower than everybody elses.
Classic con artists
Frank knows cars! What a pleasure to make my purchase. I’ve owned several vehicles in my lifetime and have purchased from as many dealerships, but I have never had the pleasure of dealing with anyone as knowledgeable, honest, friendly and caring as Frank Blanc.
From the moment we first spoke on the phone, I felt that he was being forthcoming about my options as far as financing, my trade-in and what I could expect from the dealership.
When I arrived, he greeted me warmly and I actually felt as if he really cared about me finding the right car. I’m pretty picky and can be difficult to deal with, but he was patient and worked with me to make the right fit. He worked hard to get me the car and I can’t say enough good things about him.
I have found management at Mike Pruitt’s Honda to be cold and sometimes rude. I’m happy to know there is someone who actually does his job and cares about his customers. That seems to be a pretty rare trait these days.
I consider him to be an invaluable asset to that dealership! Too bad he can’t be cloned!!!!
I hope he gets a big raise!!!!:)
I am extremely upset about the business practices of Mike Pruitt Honda, that I thought the public should be aware of. We just went over to there dealership this afternoon to purchase a Honda Civic. We wanted a car that gets better gas mileage, and is reputable. But now we have a sour taste in our mouths. Here is our story:
We were wanting to trade in a 2005 Kia Sedona minivan. We still owe $5747.01 on it. So before going to the dealership we looked up the trade-in amount on the Honda website there website said: fair- $5780, good- $6735 excellent- $7300. You would think that there website would be pretty close to the right amount, obviously barring major problems. Our van would be somewhere between good and fair. So we went in to the store from Canton. Once we got there the Salesman got all the information about our van – the mileage, year, make, payoff, etc. Then he took the keys had it looked at and said he would be right back. When he came back he had a customer worksheet that had the info about the van, and they wrote the payoff amount on the paper, and in big green letters wrote “payoff” for the trade. So we felt that we were actually losing some of the value in our trade but we were willing to go ahead and trade it in and purchase the Civic. We then filled out all the paperwork, were approved for the 2.9% credit, and were ready to sign the papers. The very last paper that was to be signed was the actual bill of sale, before we signed the paper we looked it over carefully and noticed that the bottom line was high. So we looked over line by line and noticed that they actually were only giving us $3800 for the trade, and were going to roll in the loss in the new loan. When we caught this the salesman said that we were okay with the monthly payment that he has showed us on the customer worksheet, but we were obviously unable to calculate the monthly payment in our heads, so it did not seem far off. But they were being very deceptive and tried to basically steal $2000 from us. Also, when we pointed this out to the salesperson, he said don’t shoot the messenger, he does what he his told. This dealer obviously is very shady and is not up front with the costs. We are very thankful that we caught it before we signed the contract. We also have all the paperwork, because we could not trust them to get rid of it. Also the bill of sale contradicts itself. I just feel that public should be aware of their dishonesty. You half expect this from a little used car dealer but not a big Honda dealership.
