Bought. Truck, great deal, salesman and finance were terrific. On the way home, blew a tire. Took it to a national tire retailer for new tires. Tech said the blown tire had two nails in it, and that they’d been there for a while. Apprised the General Manager, he said the tires were inspected and were fine. Basically called me a liar, then proceeded to tell me I’d been “had” by the tire shop, basically called me an idiot. This dealership accepts no responsibility for missing the nails in the tire. Instead they would rather call their customer a liar and stupid, instead of doing the right thing! Beware if you buy here, they DO NOT look over their used cars.
If the price you’re quoted seems a little high and you want to check out another dealership, then prepare for the hard sell. “Oh, I don’t want you shopping this around.” Me: “Are you denying me the right to look around for the best deal?” “Well, will you but from someone else if he offers $5 less?” Me: “No.” “How about $50?” Me: “Probably not.” “How about $100?” Me: “Uh, I think I’ll go now.” Standing in the middle of the showroom, blocking my way out, “Look, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time, but….Me: “Chris, you’re wasting my time.” Then he slaps my keys and registration in my hand and walks away. That left me to wander around the dealership looking for my car that they’d parked somewhere else. The experience was humiliating in the extreme. I’d give this sales-baby, his employer and sadly, Costco’s Auto Program, zero stars if I could.
After being rear ended on the Interstate and having my car totaled we were forced into replacing a car. Over a period of 4-5 weeks we test drove 3 different vehicles while deciding between new or used. We settled on a 2014 Civic. My wife and I have purchased new in the past and are fairly aggressive in the dealing process and do not respond well to pressure. We never have any qualms about walking out of a dealership. Nozim was very patient, honest and helpful. The deal we made was fair, and in fact was the third new vehicle we have purchased at HCOB over the years. This is a dealership I can honestly recommend. There was no nonsense and we walked out feeling we had been treated fairly.
