We did not have a positive experience with this dealer. Despite a name change, the attitudes toward customers have remained or possibly worsened. We had to wait two weeks for a service appointment, but after telling them precisely what the problem is we which needed attended to (handbrake and NYS inspection + an oil change), they then charged us $105 for an oil change and to be coldly informed that they did not have the parts to fix our RAV4, and they sent us on our way with a then expired inspection. Not even a 10 day sticker. Ofc, on the way back to our home (2 hours away), we got stopped by the troopers and rightly cited. Needless to say, we won’t be returning and recommend others avoid, too. Thank you.
I have been to the dealearship twice to get the repair done. The first time they had to order a part. Approximately 4 weeks later I called them to find out what was going on and they told me the part was in so i brought my vehicle in for repair. They had the vehicle all day and when I called they told me they had ordered the wrong part. No call when they realized it. Second time I again had to call them to see if the part was in. They didn’t know and had to check. Called me back and said the part was in and I made an appointment to have it repaired. 10 AM was my appointment. It is now almost 1:30 and my vehicle still is not been in the shop. Service is definitely not of the quality I would recommend.
I walked in to shop prices using the C.A.R.S. program and was completely blown off. They basically told me My type of business was not welcome! The dealer sales person that i am buying my new car from told me a friend that works at this particular dealership, Glens Falls Toyota, stated that the ownership encourages their sales personnel to treat people who want this program like assholes, as they did me. Glens Falls Toyota can kiss my everloving ass.
